Guess you're allowed to walk on the Seal today (if you've graduated). Just do it respectfully and with your style - I suggest a mellow strut to a jazzed-up version of Clarissima. Welcome Alumni!

A great place for student groups to setup booths and tables during the day to promote. Email chapel@bu.edu for permission & scheduling. You don't need permission to setup on the sidewalk in front.

Hey 2013 Terriers. Your diploma is dated May 19. I'd wait until late Sunday afternoon before I step on that seal! (And when you do don't forget to snap your fingers and a picture.)

Props to the most original "I'm officially a graduate, stepping on the seal" picture. Otherwise, the legend may or may not be true, but its just polite not to step before you walk that stage.

Careful, Terriers -- legend has it that if you step on the seal in Marsh Plaza, you won't graduate. We welcome any and all alumni to refute this claim. Read more

I definitely stepped on it once or twice (accidentally) and I still received my diploma!

Vigils, dancing, singing, pillow fights, flash mobs, wheelie poppin', and protest -- this is the People's Plaza. "Doowutchyalike" but respect the Seal.

I stepped on the seal for good luck before every exam. They just don't want you to know it helps!
