Awarded three stars (★★★) in the 2015 Michelin Guide for NYC restaurants. *Note: America's most expensive restaurant*
Pretty amazing food no doubt but also clearly overpriced. You're paying for brand and location overhead.
Unique dining experience. Excellent food. Expensive, yes, but totally worth every penny. Enjoy!
Had lunch there today and there's no word to express how amazing it was. Just feeling grateful that I've experienced this, so thank you.
The company. Better than the sushi.
Best omasake in the world
The best Japanese food and experience handsdown for me！And, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to！Up there with Plaza Athenee in Paris and Per Se in New York！
Incredible Omakase. Came for birthday dinner prepared by Chef Masa himself. Beautiful and a true event!
It's great for any aspect! Just pricy... but it's great for someone who can afford or don't care the price if it excellent dishes. I wish I can go there seasonal....
Come with your wallet. $450 dollar chef tasting menu of 26 courses ONLY
Best sushi experience in NYC! Too bad they don't allow pictures :( It would be cool to sit at the sushi bar next time
After eating at Sukiyabashi Jiro, Sushi Mizutani, and Sushi Yoshitake, Nobu Malibu and a few other well known places in Japan, Masa is still my favorite sushi restaurant in New York City

The famed sea urchin risotto, Ohmi beef w/t ruffles, & toro caviar are even better than they sound. Sushi is sublime. – Green Guide Editor
Supeerr nice , muuy bn..
Well deserving of its three Michelin stars, you'll be hard-pressed to find any sushi that can top Masa's. While it's extremely expensive, you're paying for an unforgettable culinary journey.
Just fabulous !
Go for lunch to bar masa
Chef: Masa Takayama
Three Michelin stars.
You have to try Chirashi.
Looking for exceptional sushi? Take a seat in front of sushi master Masa Takayama. who presents each piece like a work of art. But it will cost you: at least $400 per person. Before tip.

Misocreme bruele & cocoa & black sesame ice cream . Yummiest a must get....the entrees &the sushi is mild & sutle....a must if u are around.
Don't expect to control the food they serve you...expect orgasmic gustatory experiences, while you eat of course...
Be aware.... The sashimi tasting menu for $99 is disguised as a sashimi regular at best. Just fish and nothing else. Im still hungry .
“Better sushi than in Tokyo…pricy, but good.” – Anthony Bourdain.
Make sure you are well capitalized...
More of a fun FYI than a tip: The surface of the sushi bar itself costs $60,000. Worth attending just to check that out.
This is a fantastic sushi bar.. In the Timewarner bldg.. the Bar tender is crazy.. the food is amazing.. just a fantastic selection .. 4 stars for me
This is one of those places that if you can go, GO! Try to get a seat at the bar. WARNING: You will probably never be able to enjoy sushi quite the same way after experiencing Masa!
The black truffle ice cream may change your life. For the better.
Safe room for the cocoa sesame ice cream or splurge on the truffle version
The uni pasta is wonderful
Love the kobe risotto!
sushi the price. At $450 per person before tip.
Good food + drinks. The mushrooms are a bit too salty.
Sit at the counter of The Master
