    A good Japanese Restaurant but not the best , it has good dishes but A Average Sushi , not a wow but has good other dishes .

    A classic. Great food. I love their sushi. A bit pricey but IMO its worth it. Service and decor could use some attention but Matsuhisa is still one of the best Japanese restaurants in LA.

    Pretty much everything here is great.. I would recommend Creamy rock shrimps, spicy tuna with crispy rice, yellowtail with jalapeño, and of course SUSHI

    Truly, I could eat here every day. They have a chef's menu that is a must try at least once. Come for more than sushi, the Black cod is over the top excellent!

    The original Nobu restaurant before all the Nobus. Must try if u are a Japanese fan. The cooked dishes are amazing.

    Matsuhisa the man was here the night we are in. All of the dishes are well prepared and delicious. I would ask the server for their suggestions. Tempura crab claw and all the sashimi was my fave

    This is the best sushi on the west coast. Hands down. Low-key and casual atmosphere, but the sushi is so serious. Trust any and all recommendations.

    The chef is famous for Nobu, but this place is much better, and unassuming, without all the frills. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. The soft-shell crab roll was amazing, and super fresh!

    soft crab roll was good and made me feel full at last. They had raw octopus nigiri - it was very delicious. Desert - youkan with kinako ice was good.

    Make a reservation because the staff will be incredibly rude, rush your through your meal, and act like your money isn't worth as much to them if you don't.
