The guacamole is just sour cream and food colouring. Yuck!
Great food, can get very crowded though on nights and weekends. Good outdoor patio and great salsa.
Waiters, you are a waiter. Swallow your fucking pride and do your job with some integrity.
Solid menu all around, but you'll leave stuffed
Chips and tortillas homemade ! Recommend the fajitas
Smoked Chicken Enchiladas very tasty.
Home of the Huge Chip.
Enchiladas, tacos, pralines. They're all fantastic. This place's longevity speaks for itself.
Sit on the back porch. Get the Mexican Martini. Best queso this Texan has ever had. SERIOUSLY
Beef tostadas compuestas with Ranchero sauce!
Good food, fast, great for large groups.
Get some delicious tacos on Earth Day, and 5% of your check goes to eco-friendly causes.
Fish tacos, fried, corn tortillas & cilantro dressing.... SO GOOD!
It is indeed famous and is by far my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Austin. Great prices for great food. Friendly atmosphere. STRONGLY recommend.
They will make a margarita using fresh squeezed jalapeños to make it more spicy.
Get the Relleno, it's great down to the pecans and raisins. :)
This place is the best! Best Mexican food!
Very nice date-nite spot, and great food :)
Best michelada in Austin.
Make sure they offer you sherbet or a praline for dessert.
Now I remember why I haven't been here in ten years. This place sux!!
My favorite queso ANYWHERE
fajitas are awesome.
Bring a tazer and a can opener to get into your car!
The Chile Renellos are very good. Nice patio with a koi pond.
This ATX institution has never strayed from its winning formula of authentic Mexican food made from scratch, on the premises, and according to revered family recipes.
White people Mexican food. Most of it is bland and over priced. The queso sucks. All that being said, for the most part the staff is quite awesome (if you don't count the managers).
Beware the pigeons overhead on the patio!
They don't use fresh line juice for their skinny Rita's. So they really don't offer a skinny Rita. They don't bother to tell you that either. You have to ask for olives with your Mexican martini.
I'll take a large Bob!
Best migas I have ever had!
A gluten free enchilada sauce? That's an awesome sauce!
Do Not get portobello fajitas! Im still working on feeling better a day later!
It was OK. I'm a Mexican Food snob from LA and this is no where near the quality at home. Chips & Salsa were Excellent, should've had a Margarita.
Prickly Pear margarita is awesome!!
Excellent Carne Guisada. Warning on kid-friendly...there are more kids than a Chuck-E-Cheese. Kinda weird.
Ask for the sherbet!
Try the chipotle ranch sauce!
Stay away from the house frozen margarita! It's terrible! Chili rellenos are awesome!
Lots of their food can be made gluten free, but you need to ask. Chips are all clear, though, they have their own fryer.
Get the Bob Armstrong dip!! Taco salad is amazing too!! Everything here is good!
They are extra accommodating for Gluten Free diet!!
Try Matt's special. Great meal.
The Queso is a must, and the fajitas are awesome.
Matt's = Love
Looooove this place!
Bob Armstrong dip is a must! We liked it with black beans!
Bob Armstrong dip (aka delicious queso) is worth the trip.
