Been here for six years, one of the hidden gems in east village. Love their Pisco drinks, best to go with chips with their special sauces
This bar will change the way you think about Tequila. Incredible cocktails and selection of agave spirits, not to mention knowledgeable bar staff.
Get the arepa rellena to eat. Their El Piloto drink features mezcal, Jamaican rum, & absinthe ;). Their Jimador's Shifty is basically pineapple mezcal & negra modelo ;) 😍
Awesome cocktails, anything with mezcal rocks, ask to sit upstairs for more atmosphere
Excellent excellent cocktails! Try everything from Some Like it Hot section.
the best array of mezcal-based cocktails in New York. over fifty to choose from!
Many many options, if you're having trouble picking one go for the Green Gloves. Delicious, colorful and strong.
Food is decent, but overpriced. Service can be slow though, but who cares when you're there with good company and good drinks. I love La Vida Rosa, by the way. Not too strong, but refreshing.
The online menu doesn't do it justice. The cocktail selection is exceptional, and they have a whole list of spicy drinks
A great bar to have a drink with your lover or a couple of friends. Really intimate, interesting interior and great cocktails — Afternoon Delight was a great spicy, summer beer-cocktail.
Sit at the bar and just let the bartender know what you're in the mood for. Then prep for mezcal heaven
Cute Mexican tiles/decor. If you like tequila/mescal, plenty of drinks to choose from. Cozy/not too loud.
Very good cocktails, most of them tequila or mezcal-based.
They serve food till late!
The mezcal hot chocolate has gotten me through winter.
Awesome tequila bar. Great date spot. Just fucking try it.
The food isn't bad and it's good for low key dates!
Great selection of tequila. Cozy and romantic- great for dates and date night or groups.
Came here for drinks and the wait for the room upstairs was worth it. Love the ambiance and decor. Many many drink choices but go for the tequila/mezcal ones.
If you love tequila, this will be your Mecca. Try one of the flights!
Hiding behind weird cocktail names and a surprisingly large seating area, is the perfect place for tequila, mescal and beautiful waitresses.
Fantastic cocktails. Get them spicy.
If you like spicy, go off menu for the "Any Color You Like"
Really wanted to hate it when I walked in but despite the weird vibes and ridiculous menu the drinks were very good. Didn't hurt that the waitress was a total smokeshow either
all the cocktails
Best mezcal cocktail collection. And the food is great
Great tequila and mezcal cocktails. The Black Star combines tequila, bourbon, ginger, cinnamon, and apple butter.
From the same creators of Death & Co. The tequila and mezcal drinks are amazing.
Probably better to grab a table, you won't get the full bar experience sitting at the bar. Pretty authentic tasting food.
Delicious tequila and mezcal drinks. The food here is amazing as well. If you like 'em spicy, you'll love it here. Dark and cozy. The wait can be hit or miss, but it's worth it.
Get the Green Gloves if you're into spicy drinks. Its got jalapenos and celery something in it.
Get the Black Friar Cobbler!
Date night 101
Great cocktail list and amazing churros
I had the HIt or Miss coctel with jalapeno infused tequila and it was really good.
Chilaquiles with salsa verde and chorizo are off. the. chain.
Best ginger cocktail I ever had.
Drink the spicy drinks. Beware of the delicious but difficult-to-eat queso.
Get the Black Star!
Great tequila selection and small bites.
It's all about Mezcal! 🔥🍹
"East Village, unobtrusive, speakeasy-esque doors, over 40 different mescals to sip neat or in their numerous cocktail options. the drink recipes have been carefully conceived."-CoolHunting
Everything is fantastic. Point randomly to something on the menu and you wont regret it!
Sit upstairs for a romantic feel
Good strong cocktails, but the food was just okay. Not a lot of vegetarian options for the boyfriend.
Ron's Dodge Charger excellent smoky/spicy drink with a subtle pineapple sweetness and salt on the rim.
