People tend to check in during these times:
You can buy an eTicket on the app. Once purchased: 1st - board the train, then hit activate and you are all set! Very convenient since they aren't selling today as it costs more to buy on the train
carry cash to purchase ticket on the train if you don't have the app. no surcharge coming from Lowell. coming back though, expect up to $3 if you didn't purchase one beforehand
Watch out for the crack heads.
See a giant line of people climbing the stairs from the platform? It's OK to wait for them to finish before you shove your way down the stairs. I promise the train won't leave without you.
Why would anyone be barefoot??
Run up the stairs really fast.
You need cash to park! @DunkinDonuts takes cards, the vending machines take cards - the parking attendant WILL make you go to the ATM.
Use your Smart Phone to purchase your commuter rail ticket. Its quick and you don't have worry about cash. The app is called MBTA mTicket in Google Play Store and the app store on the iPhone.
Love it or hate it... Lowell is a good place to drink!
This is a Great station to connect to the mbta commuter rail to Boston north station and easy way to get taxi and the LRTA bus service
You should be waiting on the platform for your train, leaves on the dot, it does not wait! And the clock on the platform is incorrect, use your cell for accurate time.
Try to encourage everyone getting off the train to not fear the stairs, as it seems most people can not walk up them in less than 10 minutes...
The Dunks here doesn't do breakfast sandwiches.
If you see a junkie that is asking people for change, ASK THEM 1st!!!! It really freaks them out. ;)
If the train leaves in 5 minutes, don't assume you have time to hit the Dunkin Donuts kiosk--it's slow getting up the stairs and over the bridge!
Don't walk barefoot. Unless you want free aids.
No matter what time of day you leave this station there is always at least one person tweaking out and yelling on their cellphone about an upcoming court date.
The 7:30am billerica bus literally stops here for 30 seconds and takes off. Be early or you may miss your chance.
Dont touch anything if at all possible
Leave more time than you think you'll need to go upstairs, over the bridge, and down to the train. If you have only five minutes, no, you won't have time to grab coffee at Dunkin Donuts.
I swear I get hit on here more than anywhere else. And not in a good way :-(
Always lie when the crazies ask you for a cigarette.
Buy your tickets before you board to avoid the surcharge
