The International waiting area for pick-up at terminal 3 has a few power outlets next to the rows of seats. Perfect for charging your phones while waiting for your guests to arrive while sitting.

much more to see around Vegas than slots. 2 1/2 hr drive gets you to Death Valley, the park systems best kept secret. 1 hr N on I15 is valley of fire with petroglyphs and amazing rock formations.

On an early flight & want to get a great hearty breakfast. Check out S'Barro's breakfast platter - A generous amount of bacon or sausage patties, eggs, potatoes, biscuit and sausage gravy for $8.99

Check in early ! But Try your luck on a wheel of fortune slot machine if you have time ... Won big twice at the airport spending only $40 contrary to common misconception ! LOVE MCCARRAN AIRPORT !

So apparently you can bring a purse but if you bring a carry on luggage bag its 100 more per person guess that's why they changed to the more marketable name of spirit, used to be prison rape air.

Terminal 3 is such a great difference vs the old terminal. As with any flight, arriving a couple of hours before, will get you in in no time. With a minutes to spare for shopping or a cup of joe :-)

Love this airport, a lot of places to have fun and spend $ even at the airport 😏 free wifi and a lot of places to charge your device. Clean and workers are nice. What happened at Vegas, stays there.

The Coffee Beanery in Terminal C is worth stopping. Generally good coffee and through many layovers here I've found the people who work there to always be pleasant and helpful.

Extra time before a flight? Visit XpresSpa in the D terminal, ask for Stanley if you get a massage. Chairs are complimentary for as much time as you wish with purchase of a service.

Slot machines welcome you as you get of the plane. Centrally located, very close to Strip. Free shuttles available to/from many hotels. Free wi-fi all in the airport. Expect delays in busy seasons.

Best airport wi-fi HANDS DOWN. Great way to kill time before your flight. Also, get here early, especially if you're flying Southwest (hub) or any airline in Concourse D (except United and Hawaiian)

Rather than taking a cab, take SuperShuttle! I paid $8 from The Flamingo to the airportn one-way! A cab should only be $20 max (with tip) and make sure they don't take the freeway. Enjoy Vegas :)

Excellent Airport & TSA Check-in!!! Very helpful, fast + take you to front of line if disabled w/o having to ask for assistance. Spotted my cane and presto magic I was whisked away thru security. TY!

The only thing that "stays in Vegas" is your $$$... so at least be sure to spend it wisely and have fun at places like @UnionLV @AriaLV @VdaraLV @BellagioLV or @FixLV...great experiences await!

This airport is gross. High traffic (passengers), food's not great, and it's difficult to find a place to recharge your electronics. Also, do not buy a $9 Starbucks sandwich -- not worth the cost.
    Leah Becerra · December 13, 2014

You can walk from Terminal 1 (A & B) to Terminal 3 (D & E Gates). Just take the tram in the C Gates security, but don't exit. The Terminal 3 tram is right next to the Terminal 2 (C Gates) end station.

You can actually find the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign in light-up smaller form inside the airport. It is located just by the international arrivals area, just behind the butterfly airplane.

Free WiFi. Also, play the slots in the terminal if you need to get your fix before you hit the casinos (or need one last chance to win some money before you catch your flight out of Vegas).

Curbside check in is managed by an outside company. If your bags get lost, it's on you (airline can't/won't help). Tip well to ensure your bags make it home. Amazing how many people don't tip!

If you're flying out of JetBlue's terminal three, it's much less crowded than the main terminal so you don't need to get here as early. Plus if you have TSApre you'll be through in less than 5 mins.

If you're not checking bags, skip the ticket counter and use the universal kiosks to print boarding passes. They're located on the second level of T1 & T3 near the entrances to security. Never a line!

Eat @ Villa Pizza. The #2 is a deep-dish piece of pizza, any side (baked ziti is delish), and a medium drink for less than $10. A double cheeseburger meal @ wendys costs more but is not near as tasty

If you're parking at the airport, whether it be long term, short term, or economy, don't forget to write down you're floor and don't forget your ticket! You need it to pay on your way out! :)

McCarran is fabulous airport. It is a vacation all by itself! The food court is fabulous and it is the only airport where I have seen a Pei Wei! Brookstone To Go and a cute place called Poke Face!

You can get to the airport in a matter of 10 minutes from your hotel on the strip! Service is quick--they get you in and out with plenty of time to shop and eat before your flight.

Do whatever you can to have your boarding pass printed before you get there if you fly Delta, check-in lines and security are bananas. If you're running late, tell them, they'll rush you at check-in.

Clean and lives up to all expectations with slot machines and plenty of Frank Sinatra.Give yourself some time when checking out. You need to take a tram. TSA here are bizarrely friendly!

If you happen to land at terminal one and have to face the 45 min to hour wait for a taxi. Know it is always longer than quoted. You have options. Just take the shuttle to terminal thee. Never a wait.

Love coming in here, hate being here waiting to leave. Slot machines are tight. They have indoor smoking slot gaming areas if you are looking for one. Gate areas are short on normal seats.

For 1 of the world's premier destinations 4 entertainment you would think that the airport would have more charging stations than something out of the dark ages. Need seats at each gate with outlets.

Please check to make sure you seat belt is securely fastened. Your seat back and tray table are in the full upright and locked position & all carry-on luggage is placed completely underneath the seat!

There are outlets in the floor every so often if you need to power up. The Starbucks by CPK has dirty tables, but a great view to the Allegiant Air gates (spot the Blue Man Group plane!)

Hands down best airport in the US. Easy to get through and parking is a breeze. Park in short term at baggage claim level for easy coming and going when picking family and friends.

The older area of this airport is OLD, but the newer area is just beautiful. There is a lack of duty free at the gates however. I would have needed to go back to Terminal 3 to get liquor.

Stores and restaurants close early. If you have a late flight, bring what you need. Tcby closed at 5pm (Sunday), the convenience store closed at 12. Our flight was after 1am.

Free wifi with a decent connection. And for the frequent flyers and travel hackers, there are also a few different lounges here to experience. (Centurion, Lounge Club, etc.)

Huge and spread out., Make sure you leave plenty of time to check-in and TSA screening. We arrived about 1:45 before flight time and just arrived at our gate as boarding began.

If waiting for a friend to pick you up in a cab, and her cab driver suggests to wait at The Front of the cab line, ignore the advice. The McCarran cops yell at you to move, but Jim S. might save you!

The steak and potato restaurant in terminal b is not worth the 8dollars a sandwich.. the fry's were awful... choose a sit down if you have the time or get over priced snacks from one of the gift shops

Airports need to realize that today's travelers need places to sit near electrical plugs. It's absurd that people have to sit on the floor in the walkways so they can charge their phones and laptops.

If you rent a car and leaving McCarran, the shuttle will take you to term 3. If your flight leaves from term 1, you 'll need to take an inter-terminal shuttle once you're in term 3.

The friendlier u r with the TSA staff and the better attitude u have about the whole process, the better the experience. U can certainly make things easier by arriving early.

Not many plugs at all at the gates- you'll have to sit in the hallways to plug in your devices... McCarran needs to get the chairs and tables with USB ports! Pro- they have a Starbucks 

Decent airport. Free Wi-Fi, nice selection of places to eat & drink, wells Fargo ATMs, lockers & plenty of outlets to recharge. Wolfgang Puck Express has great sandwiches, pizza & beer.

The new terminal was clearly built for much higher volumes of traffic, so it always feels like you're walking through an empty mall. Really confusing to switch between terminals with the shuttle

Remember to opt our of the body scan...I went through it and felt sick after. TSA could care less...they told us we had to go through it and than after I went through it they tell me I could've passed
