Make sure you have ZERO problems with any part of your body before you go on this one...rattles your brain, almost breaks your neck and hold on tight cuz its a lonnnnnggg bumpy ride. Not recommended..
Longest ride in the park, sit in the back to get tossed around more.
Make sure you wear a neck brace
A little shaky, but a great old fashioned wood roller coaster.
While waiting in line, take the opportunity to snap some cool pictures from the interior of the coaster's support structure.
This one shook really violently all the way
Still smoother than Magnum.
My favorite coaster!
Two words ladies: Support. Bra.
Best woodie ever. The view makes you forget the pain you are about to inflict upon yourself.
If you ride in the back of the yellow train, you are playing with your life!!!
Front seats, lean forward, don't let your head touch the back, grab the front bar or lock your legs and lets your arms in the air. Great ride.
If your above the age of 24, don't risk your health. Just go get a beer instead.
For real, tip by another user: just hug yourself. Esp if you're big in the bosom. Way better experience! I prefer the back btw!
It hurts your butt when you go down hills so bring aspirin.
Ouch! Don't sit in the last car if you like your back at all.
Awesome, but painful. Very long ride.
This ride is sponsored by The American Chiropractic Association
Don't sit in the back unless you want to leave on a stretcher with a broken neck.
Ladies, you might want to hold the girls down for this ride. Ouch.
Never expected I would need a sports bra to ride a dollar coaster! But it's so worth it!!
This is a nice place 2 go 2 & ride the mean streak.
Don't eat before you get on
Remind yourself before getting in line that you don't HAVE to ride this. Just because it's big, doesn't mean it's good.
If you're looking to puncture a kidney or perhaps dislocate your neck, this is the ride for you.
Be ready to get shaken up!!!
Don't read this if you just had surgery. Like with a year
Grab the front bar (instead of the lap bar) and pull your back forward off the seat to make your ride smoother.
Look for Mean Streak Henry! Ask him how many times he's been on it this season!
Sit towards the front and lean forward! My favorite ride in the park!
Get ready for your back and neck to be all shaken up! Still, you have to ride this monster wooden coaster!
The front of the train is the best place to sit if you're looking for a smooth ride on this classic wooden coaster!
mean streak crew '08 :)
Avoid "the kidney puncher".
If that's what it's like after being smoothed out, dear God how painful was it before? Front row and I think I need to go to the chiropractor.
Schedule a chiropractor appointment after this ride!
Bring your neck brace.
My friend bugged me to go on this ride then right before we were getting on the ride broke down!!!!!! Its stupid!!
Still mean. To avoid the worst of the abuse from this ride, lean forward a little and hug yourself.
Your scream will sound so deformed on this ride.
This ride sucks.
really hurt my neck and shoulders.
Compared to the other coasters here, this one's pretty boring. And compared to most wooden coasters i've been on.
Doesn't beat you up as bad as I remember.
Wow sit in the very back and you'll see why it's called mean!
Sit in the first row of a car for a smoother ride
Kinda painful but really fun!
Breaking news! Mean Streak does not require a trip to the doctor any longer! Super smooth thanks to the retracking project. Its now a joy to ride! Still don't trust the back seats on this one.
Resurfaced for 2011. Much smoother, than it used to be but still has that wooden coaster roughness you should expect.
The new track work for the 2011 season has transformed this ride into what it has always had the potential to be.
