Get there early, watch for your bus because baggage handlers do not know how to organize and will tell you to form three different lines while your bus is sitting there empty.always late

Busses leave on time 70% of the time. Power outlets work 40%. WiFi works 10%. There's a reason Bolt tickets sell out so quickly.

If you aren't leaving on a packed day try waiting as long as you can to get the tickets. They go down to 15 if you're smart about it. Or just go ghetto and fung wah since bolt is always sold out.

Amtrak $80+, Bolt $35+, MegaBus $12+. Yeah, the grunts on ground staff SUCK MONKEY BALLS, but once on-board, WiFi, outlets, clean comfortable seats... Worth the aggressivation. Greyhound? Forget it

There's more leg room in the bottom seats, but you can really put your feet up on top level in the very front.

Don't catch MegaBus. They have you corralled like farm animals in 110 degree weather! Not to mention you'll leave late 90% of the time

Had a 6:30 am bus... Left on time and had people that were very nice and helpful. Not very crowded. Hey for $5 you can't beat that kind of service.

People keep complaining about the lack of accommodations. It's a bus stop for pete's sake. A cheap, convenient method of travel. You want accommodations, pay more money and take a train.

There are no free restrooms anywhere in the vicinity! Make sure you go before you come or be prepared to buy something in exchange for using a toilet.

WiFi tip: connect to the MegaBus network, open a browser and accept the terms. Your mobile WiFi indicator may not show you're connected to the network until you login via your browser. :)

The mornings are the best and never never expect to be on the bus during afternoon rush hour or you'll be an hour or two late.

Unless the bus is packed take the seat right behind the driver. You will be more likely to to sit by yourself and get some space.

Believe it or not, it's only $26 for a round-trip, it could be lower as around $6~$8 for early book.

Biggest cluster ever. Didn't board on time. No signs for destination. My enough staff. Dave yourself the headache and anxiety and take Bolt or Greyhound.

Boarding has improved greatly. They put up plastic chains to separate the lines, and each line is labeled.

Complete sh*t show and poor organization especially beginning/ends of weekends. And line cutters, lots and lots of line cutters.

Lining up for a bus is a clusterfuck. Absolute chaos. The bus was running about an hour behind but they loaded us in pretty quick. Once we were on the road it was good though. Outlets, wifi,& legroom!

Buses don't leave on time and staff is disorganized. Also, bring your own food, there are no stops between DC and NYC.

Best time to travel-130am or 330am depart. No traffic, not as many people, you're gonna sleep anyways so why waste your day in a bus?

All these haters... I usually have good experiences on the Mega Bus. Going to Boston to NY or visaversa is never going to be on time, unless u take a red eye.

NEVER on time. But, if you're getting me to places like Boston, Philly, and even Rochester for free, who am I to complain? And unlike greyhound, not at all grimey and ghetto
