Love this place! Personal favorites are tofu spring rolls (V11) and vegan pho (V17). Bring cash, they don't take credit. It gets busy you may have to wait for a seat.
Congrats on the new addition. Closed for a month. I already sense Vietnamese withdrawal coming. Eek!
Best place downtown to get Pho. Try the iced coffee for dessert.
Best pho in the state! Get the P5 with all the different cuts of beef. One of my favorite places!
best pho in town! get the P2 and summer rolls.
They only take cash but I'd pay in nickels if I had to. The pho is that good.
Lots of vegan options. I always get the grilled tofu w/ peanut sauce, veggie fried rice, and veggie "pho". Friendly people and always exceptional service.
Eat here as often as possible, trust me. However, from Jan 15 - Feb 15, Mekong will be closed. They are visiting their family in Vietnam. Wish our fav restaurant safe travels!
Best Pho in Bmore! Friendly staff and service is always outstanding. I always get the Grilled Tofu, Vegetable Fried Rice, & Vegetable Noodle Soup. Vegan-friendly :)
Their Pho really makes this my "go to" in the winter, but their vegetarian noodle soup shouldn't be ignored - it's my absolutely favorite and filled with so many veggies.
Beef lovers, try P5 on the menu.
Bring some cash and try the delicious pho!
Absolutely THE BEST vegan pho you will EVER have. Yep, that's a promise. Order the V17, extra shallots and say vegan in case. AMAZING. Local fresh veggies like asparagus and peppers...now I'm hungry..
Second year in a row when I was in town for the Deathfest, I went to Mekong Delta and it was as delicious this last time as it was the first. Those pork/shrimp eggrolls are very tasty as is the Pho.
decent pho. broth is a little more on the cinnamon side than I would like, but the meat is excellent. probably the best pho, only one i know of actually, in b'more! get the summer rolls.
F25 is really good.
Whatever you order, make sure to try their homemade Vietnamese iced coffee, it's amazing! #food #foodart
The pho was delicious. The staff a little shaken by the noontime rush.
Great! Plenty of tasty food, gluten-free friendly, and kind server. Try the hot jasmine tea!
Best way to spend $9 on lunch downtown!
The Baltimore Sun ranked this as one of Baltimore's 100 best restaurants. Read more:
Some of the best pho I've ever had. The broth is amazing, powered by a complex spice blend.
Zagat 2013 rated!! Small family owned place but worth the wait. Cash only like everyone mentioned. Might also be a good idea to call ahead to see if they are opened.
The seafood hu tieu is divine! Amazing broth. Also try a drink from their fridge, love the young coconut juice with slices of coconut flesh. Lovely staff as well.
Baltimore's best-kept secret. Come early. Try the lemongrass tofu!
Try the Goi Cuon- Srimp & Pork Rolls
Closed until February 15, 2012. They are visiting relatives in Vietnam.
Cash only...come prepared for an amazing meal
Pork roll with peanut sauce + Pho (try p4 - don't fear the tendon) = the highlight of my lunch week.
Fry rice is pretty good too.
fresh & tasty & family owned. try it!
Get the Mekong Delta Crepes.
Not a great place for phở in the winter months, as they claim they can't get Thai basil. If they took a ride down to H-Mart they could solve this little, but significant problem.
everything is good.
Mekong will be closed the month of June. The family is going home to visit! Be sure to welcome them back in July and try the H1. It's my very favorite pho dish!
