Free Mango Lassi w/ purchase of Entree
Garlic naan and curry
Probably the best Indian buffet I've tried in the Boston area so far. Go on weekends, when they have a greater variety of dishes available (including samosas)!
The service leaves much to be desired. I didn't find any genuine warmth the entire time we ate there. Doesn't matter how the food was, I wouldn't want to go back.
Loved the bangain bartha! So good! Great garlic naan as well.
Try their coconut curry. Pretty effin' good. The rest is pretty good too.
Quality indian food!
I like the lunch buffet there.
Pretty good Indian food. Try the lamb curry.
The peshwari naan is simply amazing!
All the curry dishes are delicious, and big portions
So far all good. Pleasant service, samosas great. Got our free mango lassi. Waiting on our tikka and tandoori.
Very delicious indian food! The lamb coconut curry is fabulous!
Lunch buffet is a great value for the speed and price of everything!
Very good! Everything we took was extremely tasty!
(Best of Boston 2013-INDIAN) Improper Bostonian says, "Sanskrit for "fair", Mela offers tandoori dishes and classic curries that are your ticket for a joyride through Indian cooking."
Jeez.. The plate size! Omfg.. Bigger plates please
Stella Artois is not dutch as it says on the menu ;)
Garlic naan melts in your mouth. Also, make sure to take advantage of the free mango lassi when you check-in.
Best Indian in Boston (just got a free lassi)
Food is great, but if you want to save money when you eat here get an eGift card from Raise.com. I bought two and there are only a few left. Here's a link to the Raise page:
Get the chicken coconut curry!
Authentic Food ...Wonderful Service ... and they can make the dish as hot as you would like (trust me)
One of the best Indian food places in Boston. Won't give you the runs. Bring friends here and eat slowly.
For something a little different, try the hot stone cooking!
Try the dinner for two. Very flexi and a smart option. Works out very well. The only complaint about this place is they expect a lot of tip or gratuity
If I were on a deserted island... Mela would be the one restaurant I needed. Chicken tikka masala, onion naan and a mango lassi. Copper colored walls & glitter table tops. This is my happy place.
Excellent lunch buffet.
Avoid the fustercluck of Mela and get the same food at Kashmir!
The vegetable samosas are fantastic!
Amazing food and service! The prix fixed 3 course menu makes it an everyday affair.
great service. Try the butter chicken
Love the lunch buffet
