See that rock by the north end zone? That’s “Hep’s Rock.” It was named in memory of former IU Coach Terry Hoeppner. Every home game, the Hoosiers touch it for good luck before running onto the field.

Hep’s Rock has been in Memorial Stadium since 2005, after Coach Terry Hoeppner found it on the practice field. Every Hoosier player and coach touches it before the team takes the field for home games!
