People tend to check in during these times:
Memorial Student Union is your favorite hangout, morning coffee, study lounge, meeting space, lunch break, study space, computer lab - your home away from home!
Secret computer lab in the basement I never knew about. Great quiet place for work.
Very few people are granted access to the top of Memorial Union, but here's a glimpse of campus from the tower! Access is granted only to the Unions Ambassadors, SUPB, and some secret societies.
Try a chicken bacon ranch flatbread sandwich at Wheatstone!!
In the hall overlooking the archway is a simple wooden door. Beyond it, a staircase ascends to the top of the tower. The few who've reached it carve their names in the tower door. Will you be next?
Need more plugs!! For computers!!
Students, come here on Fridays at 7 pm for free pizza and sodie pop...and activities.
Its the perfect place to nap between classes
No longer the home of The Maneater
Great place to study now that the New Student Center is overrun.
You can use EZ Charge at Starbucks here!
There was a bee in my french onion soup from Wheatstone Bistro... bee careful!!
Force the Wheatstone people to melt your cheese if you get a panini. They have a habit of giving it to you lukewarm and rubbery.
Get enough friends and you can conduct your very own high-pitched symphony with the squeaky stall doors in the girl's bathroom!
Relax. Enjoy a warm cup of joe. Maybe grab a bite to eat. Stretch out and unwind. This is your place: welcome back to Memorial Union.
Did you know... Memorial Tower stood alone from 1926 until 1952 and is approximately 140 feet tall. The North Wing was the first to be completed in 1952. The South Wing was finally finished in 1963.
Did you know... Locked away, a hidden spiral staircase ascends to the top of the tower. Although few have seen the top, decades worth of names, dates and messages can be found from those who have!
If you don't see Austin in Memorial Union, it's probably a fire drill. Get out of the building. Immediately.
Get yourself a caramel apple spice from Starbucks, then wander. See if you can get to the middle of the two wings. Also, look for secret rooms. I feel like the secret societies would meet there.
