The "soul" in the title isn't misleading, but it's worth noting that the food at the mini-chain's darker, cozier, original location is as carefully thought-out as it is deeply felt. Read more

Traditional southern style with a little twist at this hidden gem in Costa Mesa. Amazingly good food and a great liquor collection. A place for real people to dine in a fun funky environment

Sit on Patio. The Margarita is ok but the Vodka Bitters cocktail was better. Buffalo Burger a tad greasy. Gumbo was pretty tame. Love this place but bring hipster repellant in case you are allergic

Really great happy hour. Everything is yummy, you can't go wrong. Apparently the meatloaf is the thing, I loved the shrimp and the sliders. Slow but friendly service. Might become a regular!

Brunch or late night, Memphis has it going on. Try the Cappucini with brunch--made with real illy espresso & vanilla vodka, it's your dose of caffeine & hair of the dog, all at once!

Meatloaf is awesome at $17 on Tuesday it's it's half off so instead of getting a taco Tuesday come to Memphis for the meatloaf
