If you are an aviation buff, this station seems to be under an active flight path for SFO. Lots of interesting jets flying pretty low.
Get off the 6:27 pm slow train from San Francisco here at 7:28 pm to catch the 7:34 pm train - reaches Palo Alto in 4 min.
Catch the Marsh Road Shuttle from here. 6:47am, 7:47am, 8:47am, 9:25am.
If you're there around lunch time, go to Jan's Deli on the street to the east of the station - near the southern end THE BEST turkey sandwiches. They roast the turkey fresh every day!
Try iberia nearby. AmaIng traditional Spanish tapas. It's like being in Seville
when it's hot and u have a wait, walk up steps to caffe barrone for a snack, or around corner to fosters freeze if you're feeling monstrously caloric.
Weekends north bound is hourly at half hour at this station
catch the express train mon- fri at 6:39, 7:39, and 8:39 (40 minutes) to SF
