You can flush metra toilets. It's not a port-a-potty. Press and hold the button until everything goes down.

Please cover your mouth when you cough. Please don't polish or clip your nails. Please keep your shoes on. Please use a tissue. We would all appreciate limited use of rhe F word.

    Anne Skinner · May 20, 2014
  • Ash N.

This line needs to lower their fare and hire better conductors. People are just rude.

After a long day at work locate the Quiet Car, for a peaceful commute home.

This is the boring downtown Metra terminal. And only one line serves it. Rumor has it that the SWS could operate here, but I don't see it ever happening.

Don't buy a 10-ride ticket. You no longer get a discount. Just buy one-ways. Force Metra to reinstate the 10-ride discount.

If you know you need a two-seater for yourself, please don't try to squeeze in next to someone else! Makes everyone's ride more comfortable.

Be courteous. Don't rush onto the train two minutes before departure and expect people to give up their seat for you. Oh, and stay quiet the quiet cars!

    Nia Moreno · March 18, 2013

You mean the 10 ride ticket I bought a month ago isn't valid cause you raised your fares? Weak. Take the car next time.

If you have a big group, buy a ten ride instead of a bunch of individual tickets! It's only $25 with a student ID.

As it starts to get cold dress warm because Metra has apparently never heard of heat.

This station either needs escalators going up, more elevators or the last few cars need to be open in the morning. If I'm walking here from Michigan and Congress in a hurry it's a hassle.

    Asia Anderson · October 16, 2012
  • Bilal S.

If you're in a big group and the trains about to leave just buy one or two 10 ride tickets. Buying one by one screws over other passengers.

  • Dylan D.

Try to get to your train as early as you feel like waiting. On weekday rush periods, the seats fill up fast. Especially if you're trying to sit with a group!
