    Usually Platform 1 is NYC southbound (the side with the ticket machines) but sometimes it switches to the other side so check the announcements. Southbound side always has more people.

    Nice little station, about a dozen food options within two blocks. Only ticket machines are on the southbound side.

    Wait on the far right of the platform to NYC and you will have a much shorter walk to the subway/42nd street and be ahead of the crowd.

    If you've got a few minutes before your train, go to Scratch bakery & grab something for your ride. Find it ob your phone. Holy hell it's great. Bread pudding muffin & monkey bread are insane.

    Drinking on the platforms is against the law. The MTA pd had been made aware of this it is mostly folks for the yankees games

    If you park across the street at a private lot take one of the rear two cars in you way back. It will put you right by the stair down to those lots.
