People tend to check in during these times:
Be advised, the station is in the middle of nowhere, so be sure your cell phone is charged!
Always buy your train tickets the day before the St. Patricks Day Parade.
You can park at First baptist church in the village for a donation!! Close to the train stop on Brewster! Brewsterchurch.com Park For A Purpose!! Less people too!
Great parking!!! Would visit again!!!
Watch the gap!
Odd number train cars have bathrooms. Harlem line train bathrooms aren't as disgusting as New Haven line trains, so use them.
You can park in permit parking for free on the weekends and holidays, save yourself the hike.
I will have to consider the station for my trips to New York City sometimes.
Try the Trains!!!!!!!
Worst parking lot EVER. From one end to the one another can take at least a 15+ minute walk.
Always get on the platform 5 minutes before your train because the train leaves as soon as it hits the departure time
To the woman who complained about the parking permits theres a waiting list of 6+ months. Call & put your name on. The parking lot is well lit & safe no matter the time.
Better than Brewster North station.
It is a secluded feeling parking lot after dark. But it is a good area. I would not feel bad about walking through the long parking lot to non permit parking at night.
Coca Cola vending machine just saved my poor uncaffeinated soul.
For the early AM weekday commuters - Get there early and stop by Anastasia's coffee truck
Bring your rain gear for the half mile walk. People who live out of state should NOT be allowed to have permits! At 1 am I have to walk in pitch black to my car. Not safe.
Always read the destination on the outsideside of the train before boarding. Track annoucements lie!
Great fast and good train service
No parking lot lights its creepy after dark
I agree, worst parking in entire mta system
Worst parking lot ever! Whomever decided to make the lot so long and put the station all the way at one end should be canned. Bring your sneakers, water and motivation to get to the station.
If you can; wait the extra 20 minutes to get off-peak rates. 4 dollars cheaper for an extra twenty minute wait.
Hi to all my friends
Avoid the diesel trains, they are smelly and often the A/C is not working.
The parking permits should be for residents only. Why give it out for out of state people? They don't even pay taxes here. The early bird meters are mostly out of service and people park anyway.
Don't forget to switch trains
Diesel trains with three front windows means end and center doors. Two windows means end doors only.
Pay station now takes credit cards.
Remember to check the signs for free holiday parking.
