The Middle East is a live music venue, bar and restaurant in the Central Square area of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Small shows are amazing here. The vibe is great and the bands can be very intimate with the fans.
One of my favorite spots for live hip hop. Small intimate setting, gansett's priced to move.
small joint, 2 bars, one in the front and another in the dance hall, both rooms part of Middle East Upstairs
dont use the side or corner door. use the door south on mass ave from the corner
Great band tonight. "Other Ship"
It's funny how much drink business they turn away because no one wants to pay 5 bucks to see a crappy band.
Great venue for great music!
Saw Once Upon a Time, Jocelyn and Hello Highway on the Timeless tour here; the smaller venue allowed for an intimate show and the bands all really interacted well with the crowd! I had a great time :)
That UMASS funk jazz band killed.
Only if you're a hipster...... Get a job and drink what you want!
Not a fan of the presentation or service.
Falafel sandwich is awesome. Carrot juice is heaven.
Don't know why this disappeared. Not the same thing as the Upstairs or Downstairs.
The veggie burgers are a homemade recipe. Try one!
Worst acoustics EVER. Place looks like a shitshow in the dark; can't imagine it with the lights up....
Eric Cross! Now!
20% off dinner when you show your ticket. (april 2011)
Terrible wait staff, even worse management. Save your beer money and grab a brew somewhere else.
great people, great food, great shows. they also validate for the Franklin ave parking garage if you're looking for a space to park.
PBR tall boys. 3.75. Enough said.
Buy a ticket and get 50% off you meal, that rocks!
Get yourself a Magners STAT.
Be sure to check out the Tweak Bird show on 8/20!
Wtf they automatically charge you 18% tip if your bill is more than $30
Dinner before playing with Vivian Darkbloom
Went upstairs and a local band was playing. Good crowd, enough space to dance. Not bad for a Tues. night.
The mixed drinks are too small and too expensive, stick with the PBR tall boys for $3.75
