Midtown Comics opened its first shop in 1997. Since then Midtown Comics has become the leading comic book retailer in the U.S., with its online store as well as at three landmark NYC locations, Times Square, Grand Central, and Downtown.
Awesomeness in all its splendor. Check the collectibles section on upper level!!!
Friendly staff, helped me out when i wanted to figure out where to start. Great prices and LOTS of content
Super organized, friendly staff and has quite a huge stock. Open pretty late in the summer, which is great if you get out of work late and wanna pick up the latest ish. Ray in the Toy dept. knows all.
Amazing selection of comics, toys, and other geeky stuff
Amazing store! Two levels of comics, graphics novels, games, toys, shirts, and other comic/pop culture items!
Two floors of comics, endless comics!
This Place is a Comic-Con Day-Trip of Adventure ;)
Can't find what you're looking for at other shops. Come in here
Visual overload and unknown organization scheme but great supply of comics and memorabilia.
Ótimo lugar para fans!
Le magasin des fans de Marvel!!!
Best place ever. Check out the model Gundam kits upstairs.
So much stuff! I've died and gone to geek heaven!
There are some items tgat are suposed to be exclusives (comic-con for an instance) that you can actually get here. Other than that, Anazon or Barnes and Noble carry the same TPBs
The quintessential New York City comic book store... Although I think the one on Lexington is less crammed.
Great place! Huge collection of comics, action figures and geek stuff... I really liked this place :)
Buying some comics
Ridiculously huge collection, friendly staff.
Giant collection of Gundam stuff on the 2nd floor.
The destination shop is as beloved by movie and television location scouts as die-hard collectors and Comic Con devotees.
My royal taj mahal of comic books (heaven).
Американцы бренд делают из всего и они же его всячески поддерживают и развивают следуя ему, магазин комиксов тому подтверждение - тысячи всевозможных книг! и журналов, marvel еще на сотни лет хватит
They have everything!
I love this place, my friends took me hear once, and now I'm addicted! I can't leave the city without buying at least one comic book!
My fortress of solitude
Awesome place great customer service
Ranked #1 Comic Book store in a city location by www.ShelfPorn.com
I wonder when they will get a mirror for that sharp corner
This is pretty much the place to be if you are a comic book reader. Even if you don't want to buy anything it is still worth a visit.
Great for new releases and general awesomeness!
I can't walk by this place without going in and buying everything.
Just come it's amazing here
Great place but it smells like nerd, be forewarned. It's not a scent everyone finds as erotic as I....
New comics are on the shelves by end of day Wednesday, if you only go occasionally..
membership discounts are A+, but avoid the Times Square location if you don't want to deal with crowds of tourists.
Good value if you have an account here but completely shitty selection. Everything is alway sold out--call ahead in advance to verify before coming.
Really disappointing store if you are on the hunt for Doctor Who stuff! :'(
I used to work around the block from here. Make sure to sign up for an account. Every $100 you spend, you get $10 back.
Can I help you sir? And after you finished with your question he laughs his ass off really loud! Haha swallow your pride !
I shop here all the time. Their costumer rebate program is recommended.
A wide variety of new issues, trades, back-issues, and way more. Very knowledgeable employees, too!
Carmelo transforms into a basketball machine when he hits the court. When drafting inspiration for the M9, Melo wanted his shoe to feel like a superhero suit, strapped in and ready to save the day.
Really knowledgeable staff that can help you find anything. If they dont have it, then it doesn't exist.
Whoa. so many books, never thought a day that i would be tormented by BOOOOOOOOKS
Critics' Pick winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best Comic Book Store
The customer rewards points only apply to comics and books--not other merchandise, which is bizarre. Store credit should be store credit.
If you want to get into a long conversation about the merits of Superman's cape, look for Raph!
Don't ask Raph about his parents unless you really, really like Batman jokes.
This is one of my #1 goals. If- scratch that -when, I go to New York. I will go to all three locations. TownSpuare, Downtown, & Grand Central. Before the Empire State. Before the Statue of Liberty.
