If you're on the 9th fl you have to stomp on the elevator floor to make it level & press 1; otherwise the elevator will not go back down to the 1st fl & the desk will call you to take care of it.

I really wanted to think this was a quirky place w/good prices & a fantastic location. In reality, it's horrible. No Internet; management nonexistent; lazy staff. No service. Bad weird. Disgraceful.

Quirky rooms, weird bathroom set-up but, awesome location to Comerica Park or Ford Field. Also great for The Filmore or Fox Theatre shows. Cheap rates, but for sure no Hilton.

In a great location downtown, stay here for a safe space but don't expect a 'scene' of any kind! Also check out the local cafes, they're great.

Worst. Hotel. Ever. Horrible sheets that came off the bed so you wake up with your face on the filthy mattress. Sticky? stuff on the wall. FOOD POISONING from egg at continental breakfast!

This is one unique place to stay! A charm all it's own. If you are looking for a place to say in the D dint hesitate! You'll be talking about this place for weeks after you check out.
