Free Mondays are about to make way for the first Thursday of the month free for Milwaukee county residents. Just a heads up!
Beginning January 6th the museum is no longer free to county residents. It will now be the first Thursday of the month.
The public museum is very deceiving. From the outside it looks small but it is enormous and a great place to take a date.

The burgers they serve in the Cafe, are actually reeaaally good. Worth the wait!
I love that you can pack a lunch to bring along because that saves you money especially if you come and have to pay admission but on free days the whole day can be free with packing a lunch

Buy soda from the vending machines adjacent to the cafe ($1.50) rather than at the cafe ($2.50).
Awesome exhibits -- including one of a life size T-Rex devouring a Triceratops.

Make sure to buy your tickets for iMax at the main ticket booth. There are no signs in waiting area and I went from being first to twentieth in line.
