Sit in a booth in the back, order a glass of wine and some roast beets, and imagine convening with the heads of the other families.
The Black Label Burger was absolutely incredible. Definitely worth trying.
Black Label Burger
Yes the black label burger is worth every cent. If you're adventurous ask for cheese on this monster. Bartenders know their cocktails so always a plus to sit by the bar. Book ahead as it's pretty busy
Minetta Burger is the bomb! Super cramped and tight restaurant so make sure to make a reservation!
The burger !!!
Damn Good Steaks/Corporate Cards
Start with a Manhattan. Then order a nice glass of red with the Black Label Burger. One of the best "high end" burgers I've ever had.
Black label burger is good but would say spotted pigs' burger is better. Bartender was VERY rude as I was waiting to get seated, told me I couldn't have a seat, I didn't want a seat, only a drink.
Believe everything you read about the black label Burguer
Awarded one star (★) in the 2015 Michelin Guide for NYC restaurants.
Home of the "black label" burger - supposed to be best in NY.
The steak and fries were perfect!
The burger is amazing
The black label burger is worth the hype. Still deciding if it's worth $28 though
Try the black label burger, better than the steak.
Try the Bombe Au Chocolat - (via @Foodspotting)
Try the Terrine of smoked pork hock and foie gras - Heavenly combination (via @Foodspotting)
Try the Steak for Two - Probably the best steak I have had! #steak #nyc (via @Foodspotting)
Go for the atmosphere and the old fashioned New York vibe, but don't go for the overrated Burger. It's quite pricey, too. There are better options in the area.
Huîtres Et Crépinettes or go home. Pasta Za Za is excellent as well.
Go for the original burger. Fantastic. Real healthy portion of fries too!
Still the best meat in NYC. Also the old man and the sea cocktail was pretty great. Last price hike make this place pretty expensive.
Fillet mignon au roquefort and the pasta zsa zsa are two great dishes in this town.
Get the minetta burger medium, it's still plenty pink. Also the meat is so good the bun is almost doing a disservice by existing. You also get like 3 portions' worth of AMAZING fries. Skip the pickle.
Black Label Burger
If you can get a table here make sure to get the dry aged côte de boeuf, it comes with roasted bone marrow and is wonderful!
Black label burger is worth the hype. Get a side of bone marrow to really make the meal amazing
Black label burger is a must.
Black label burger is KING. Don't get fancy with it - order it as the house recommends. You won't be disappointed
Black Label Burger, $28 The Black Label is still remarkably rich and costs only two bucks more than the day it debuted in 2009. Get it with cheese despite scoldy purist dictates.
Sometime a good quality cheeseburger hits the spot
Go when seating opens at 5:30 p.m., you have a good chance of getting a table even without a reservation. The Black Label burger is good but not worth $25 or better than Shake Shack.
Came for drinks, must return for dinner. This authentic New York saloon is Old School in a good way. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
The dry-aged burger is great as I'm sure you've heard. Worth going just for that? Debatable.
Black Label Burger is hands down the best burger I've ever had
At the end of the day its anothet burger place with fancy prices. When trying their steak it was uneatable, the oxtail foi greue was terrible. If all you want is to have a good burger its a good place
The odd cocktails. Try the pistachio De La Rosa. A margarita with pistachio syrup. A nice quiet place to have a romantic conversation. Yet crowded.
The black label burger
Classic old school New York spot. Good burger/ claimed to be the best in town.
I mean, wow. The Norwegian salmon, the marrow, the beet salad, the burger; all phenomenal. Plus, beautiful classic atmosphere. Love this place.
dry aged burger
Perfect burger and fries
The Black Label Burguer is AWESOME, medium or medium rare. The blonde waitress is not THAT cute and doesn't like to suggest the house's specialties. But... nevermind. Enjoy the place and your burguer!
The Black Label Burger with dry-aged beef and a pillowy bun smothered with caramelized onions & tangy cheddar cheese? Or the easygoing classic? Either way, both burger here are off the charts.
Get the black label burger medium rare. Good meal but pricy at $28 a pop.
It can be difficult to walk in and get a seat here so plan ahead. Get the burger like everyone says to do, you'll be pleased (unless you don't eat meat...).
Minetta burger is dope as hell 👌
