highly recommend duck buns and shoyu tomago (egg on crispy rice). Sushi is fantastic. Walk in and grab a seat at sushi bar or bar area. Reasonably priced cocktails.
Delicious food and awesome staff. The perfect combo.
Great sushi spot. Sadly, confirmed I have a soft shell crab allergy.
Great service and menu selections. Will def. Be returning!
The sushi boat is fun with a group!
Okonomiyaki takes the #JAPANCAKE!!!
Dan Dan ramen so good
Don't believe the hype. The dishes were mediocre at best.
This place is great for sharing. Everything we ordered was delicious. Table favorites were Dan Dan Ramen, Pork Kimchi Rice, And Kale salad. Best Moscow Mule and Tom Collins around.
Cool place off beaten path. Shochu menu is fantastic, learned something new today. Sashimi is good nothing special. They were out of my sushi barometer, Uni.
Get the takoyaki!
Get that fucking hamachi collar and thank me later. Nom nom nom.
Here's a tip: If you want cocktails, look for the menu hanging from your table. Don't ask your server, because if you get ours, he'll "explain" the sake menu by "reading" it aloud to you.
The fried rice is moist and to die for!!
Quality old fashioned & do yourself a favor and get the shoyu tamago
The shoyu tamago is a must, and you can get those cool t-shirts for just $10. But please, for the love of all that is holy, bring back the heated pineapple.
The unagi is pretty incredible.
Guy Wong is on the map! This place is awesome! Try the buns!!...and I don't mean his.
Love everything about this place. Gear food, pretty decor and BANGING cocktails!
They have amazing cocktails, play great music, and it's some of the best sushi I've had in the Atlanta area. YUM.
Best meal I've had in a while...hands down! Chef Guy Wong rocks it out!
Still waiting for my food and it's been like 40 minutes. One of the servers was very bad because she didn't even tried to ask my friend if what got was okay since she brought him the wrong thing.
The Hitachino Nipponian beer is a MUST!!! It's a pricey beer, but it's high gravity, in a large bottle, and worth every penny--and then some.
It has an awesome Katsu Bun, which is definitely a must, and to start a Gyoza.
Best short ribs in town and I love the pork belly bun
Named as one of Bon Appetit's six favorite izakayas in North America, Miso Izakaya also happens to be helmed by 2011 Eater Atlanta Award-Winning Chef of the Year Guy Wong. [Eater 38 Member]
get the soft-boiled egg over the rice, the sake crunch roll, black edamame & salt & pepper quail. oooh, and the grapefruit/ginger drink! so refreshing...
Katsu Curry Japaghetti
The late night ramen is sadly off the menu. Sob.
Naruto Maki = incredible
Guy wong is awesome!!!
As much as I love the food here, I absolutely do not recommend it anytime it's anything other than completely dead. They ALWAYS mess up my order and leave me waiting far too long. Boo, Miso. :(
One of Cliff's top 10 restaurants. There is nothing on his menu he would not recommend. But the slider-like steamed buns and late-night ramens are favorites.
Eat a million crispy duck buns.
Available beginning at 10PM. This is gourmet ramen: top-notch toppings, amazing noodles. Clean, fantastic broth with depth of flavor that develops character as toppings soak over time.
sandwiches, burgers & buns - hamburg bun
Honestly you could get anything and it would be amazing. The spicy sashimi salad as well as the Karubi are both amazing.
The sake choices here are the absolute best in the area. Try them in an overflowing glass.
Arrive after 10pm and get some ramen!
Try the late night menu Tonkatsu Ramen!
Don't get the $25 pitcher of asahi unless you take home the sweet double walled son o mah gun
