This place is amazing and the menu is deep. The spicy peanut noodles were fantastic as was the thrice cooked bacon. Wings are more of an experience than an edible, enjoyable dish.

  • Raphael L.

Get the peanut noodles and the triple cooked bacon. The salt cod rice was 'meh' and the chicken wings - albeit delicious - were too spicy for my German tastebuds to do their work. Lots of beer needed.

Nice touch with the free dumplings! New location living up to the hype

Really unique! My favorite dishes are the lamb ribs, pizza and beef jerky fried rice. Go with a large group and share as many plates as you can!

The bar is a different feel, equally yummy. Can't go wrong with anything, but the Napa cabbage is low key incredible.

Enjoyed dinner. But this place is miles away from the original spot. Where are the pig ears!?

  • Nick A.

Mapo and kale were highlights. Wings were super hot and delicious. Make sure to get the cod rice. The Phil Collins was an awesome cocktail.

Seating is odd here so go before 6:30pm to avoid a wait! Must eat: beef tartare, scallops with yuzu, chicken wings (warning, EXTREME mala!)

I know it's tempting to go straight for the kung pao pastrami, but the chef's special brisket is truly an honorable tribute to the cows that gave their lives for your dinner.

don't sleep on the cumin lamb riblets! + fried chix entree. + the spicy peanut noodles w cuke n mint. strong cocktails also. go early—or go late. #crowded

It's easy to over order here, but squeeze in the beef tartare. Salmon roe, steak and chilies wrapped in shiso. So good.

    Phil Machalski · April 14

Mapo tofu is excellent, an intricate entanglement of flavors. Salt cod fried rice, 3 of us felt it was a complete disappointment.

way better than the old location. order the tasting menu - the 3x cooked bacon, the wings, the green tea noodles! don't forget to check out the bar downstairs. love the vibe - hit up 169 bar after.

There is a bar downstairs in the back while you wait for your table. Drinks are pretty pricey but the Old Fashioned is worth it!

The turnip cake appetizer was great! The fried chicken was excellent and I wish I could eat the cumin lamb tibs every hour on the hour. Fall of the bone and melt in your mouth greatness!

While the tasting menu looks tempting, I can't imagine finishing it. We got the Tiger Salad, Rice Cakes, Kung Pao Pastrami and the Beggars duck for four and it was more than enough - all awesome!

I can not recommend the chewy green tea noodles, Napa cabbage and salt and pepper lamb tips enough! Every drink was killer, I recommend the Phil Collins. We had no trouble cleaning our plates!
