Try to go when the "powerlifting team" isn't there, aka the MIT squat club. You'll know they are there if you are unable to get on a squat rack for 3 hours.

There are two lifting platforms and several sets of bumper plates for olympic lifting, but some of the staff will yell at you if you drop them loudly. Caution!
Check out the stationary bike with the video monitors. The dragon game is a great way to pass the time.
