The fried chicken is front and center, with crisp skin and moist flesh. The best sides are the slightly sweet collards and extra-cheddary mac and cheese. Read more

This family-run spot doesn't operate at a New York pace, but soul food isn't meant to be eaten quickly. The pork chop, chicken and meatloaf are all delicious. Don't forget the sweet tea.

My Wife enjoyed the Fried Chicken, Mac, green beans, Yams, white rice with gravy and Loved the Corn Bread! Tip: Get gravy on the side to pour over the chicken. Half Iced Tea/Lemonade.

Mitchell’s is the real deal when it comes to delicious fried chicken. This place gets crowded during main dining hours, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

I had the Turkey Wings, very tender came right off the bone, also the collard greens were spectacular and corn bread was succulent.

Great fried chicken and delicious sides! Very filling and pretty cheap. Waitress seems to be in the family and can be a little grumpy but is very nice.

This place has great southern food if you can catch them open. Their schedule is somewhat erratic.

Unbelievably good. Super nice people. I Agree that the chicken is amazing. Got the pineapple coconut cake on a whim and it was incredible.
