Excellent food court, incredible selection of imported sauces, and a lovely counter of tsukemono. Fridge udon has replaced cup noodles as my lazy-food thanks to this place. My arteries thank them.

Besides amazing ramen it has wide & affordable selection of Asian ingredients and spices. I often buy udon noodles, rice cakes and chili spices from here for breakfast and lunch dishes. A must visit!

Go to the Pastry House Hippo nook in the back & grab the softest, tastiest, freshest bread--Shokupan--right off the baker racks (in 3 thickness choices).

Lovely refrigerated goods selection and all the sauces you could ever need. Can be a little pricy, but pretty much everything is great quality imports. You get what you pay for.

The bakery towards the end of the grocery is a hidden gem, selling pastries filled with creamy chocolate as well as the best tuna sandwiches ever. Also, fruit sandwiches.

if you're ever shopping late at Mitsuwa & want some sushi, head down the street to Kinta Sushi. Mitsuwa usually runs out by 7. Kinta has a full menu & excellent service! + sake!!!

Absolutely amazing selection of Asian restaurants, especially for being in the suburbs of Illinois. Love going to get ramen from Santouka and picking up food from the grocery attached to it.

If you want to eat at the food court, go to INFORMATION and buy a gift certificate to use at the food court! A lot easier!! They can also be used in other places in Mitsuwa!

Bring cash! The person who left the tip about using the gift certificate at the food court is an idiot! You can't use it for anything else other than Mitsuwa company owned shops. Not the food court.

I cannot believe it took me this long to visit this place. I feel like I'm walking through Tokyo's Narita Airport...AMAZING. Pick-up fresh made sushi and the cashiers have soy sauce and wasabi.

Bring at least $10 cash for the food court. They don't take cash and ATM fee is $3. Also good luck finding a seat during lunchtime, it's super busy!

Apparently the food court at Mitsuwa is not BYOB despite the fact that the liquor store sells chilled ready-to-drink mini sake bottles. The guard will yell at you if you try to have sake with lunch.

If you're going to buy SUSHI or the BENTOS, bring it to the cashiers and pay for it there. Soy sauce, wasabi and ginger is given to you there as well!
