This is a gorgeous park. However, it can be a bit shady if you are alone at night. People around here constantly warn you not to walk through the park at night, but I have never had a bad experience.

Straddling Central Park, Columbia, & Central Harlem lies the perfect escape from other overrun parks nearby. Well maintained with a waterfall and duck pond with turtles & geese. Crowded on holidays.

Don't walk alone on the upper path between 116-118 without a dog. If you have a big dog, please walk there to keep the path safe.

There are 155 steps to climb to get to 113th Street and Morningside Drive from the bottom of the park. Why pay for a gym membership?

The Daffodils are just coming out - in a few weeks, the park will be full of flowers in the gardens and on the flowering trees. It's going to be great.
