"I'm bigger than the city lights down in Times Square" - P. Diddy "Mo Money Mo Problems"
The #1 busiest subway station last year, serving over 58 million passengers! More reason to #checkthatapp
In the summer this place is hotter than hell. Seriously.
About 70 colorful mosaics of life-size figures blowing party horns and wearing party hats like the revelers in Times Square's New Year's Eve celebration comprise the subway permanent art installation
I can't stand this area. Tourist trap central.
Stop and listen to the Ebony Hillbillies if you have a minute.
There are a TON of Times Sq subway entrances in the area. Ask your hotel concierge for the nearest subway entrance.
On the south end of the downtown 1/2/3 platform you can get pretty decent cell coverage.
Longest series of corridors in the world!
“I've written more songs in the NYC subway system than anyplace else in the world. A little climb down a few dirty concrete steps supplies endless musical inspiration.” —Gavin Creel, American Songbook
The (S) is a remnant of the first subway, which ran up the east side from City Hall (today's 4,5,6), then across town (shuttle), and then up the west side (1,2,3)!
Cell coverage (and to check in of course) can be found by the second staircase for the 7, towards the A/C/E train tunnel.
NYC's subways has been stormed by the Lizard. Keep your eyes peeled when pulling into the Times Square/42nd Street station to see if you can catch this villainous mutant lurking within the tunnels.
If your riding the subway on the weekends...Make sure you check the schedule because the trains runs totally on a different schedule or trains might be out of service.
Stop being in my way.
It's the A train what more can you say. :-)
If you need an intimate moment with the Devil in the Summer; this is the place. He'll make sure you drop a few pounds. Oh and don't forget 34th street. **so hot in here**
Use 41 & 7 avenue entrance. Less crowded/congested than main entrance
Going to/from Port Auth but don't need to transfer trains sometimes it's just faster/better to walk outside than via the underground passageway.
On the Uptown E platform, listen to this old African American (blues ?) singer. The best voice I've heard in the subway. He makes you want to miss and wait for the next train.
This is the subway station you can catch almost every line of service and also getting off you get to come up to the Amazing Times Square
Beware, the steep not-wheelchair-accessible ramps can be slippery in certain shoes even when dry. Watch your step.
AT&T works like you're outside down here. Call your job now and tell them you're running late
No express service due to previous delays in service. Damn it, I'm tired!
The Meetles perform here by the CD store Saturdays 6pm-11pm! 6-piece band playing Beatles and other rock tunes, come check them out!! :-)
Breathe deeply, grab your bags tightly, + walk faster than you ever have before. Lol! That's IF you can get through the turnstile w/o issues. Walk to the Port Authority Bus Station for A/C/E trains.
If you want the A/C/E -- get it from Port Authority. Otherwise you'll be walking all the way (back) there in horrendous underground conditions to catch your train.
ACE line Sucks!
Great place to be,if you like big cities.
