If you're just killing some time, stand under the globe for shade :) it has to be at least 10 degrees cooler. Oh, but people like taking pictures of it, so don't be camera shy :D
Be careful on the weekends. Train schedules are crazy
Pay attention to the signage regarding what stops the 1 train is skipping on weekends, as the MTA personnel are about as helpful as a wet napkin. SMH.
The best entrance for the Uptown 1 train is directly underneath the gigantic, silver Globe sculpture.
Make sure you already have a metro card when you coming into this subway station, because if you don't you'll be waiting on line forever to get one....
