Hidden underneath an apartment complex in little Italy, their outdoor back patio is the perfect happy hour location when the weather is nice. The Linda Lovelace cocktail was delicious.

Definitely go for the bespoke, and the bartender will make a custom drink with the alcohol and vibe (fruity, spicy, aromatic, etc) of your choice! Cute outdoor area for a cocktail under the stars!

One of the best options in the neighborhood for a good drink away from tourists. I always do the bartender's choice bespoke cocktail. Lovely little outdoor area in back that very few people know of.

Instead of two turntables and a microphone, Beck could have sang about your choice of two flavors and a liquor, and had himself a hit song about the drinks at a speakeasy nestled beneath Little Italy.

Neat little speakeasy that basically is bartenders choice menu. Just say the base liquor you like and flavors you prefer and they mix up something awesome. Also has a nice outdoor space, but small

Bartenders here are like genies with the bottles. Top-of-the-line, ridiculously awesome craft cocktails. You tell the bartender what flavors and liquor you want, and he makes it so, just for you. A+

Try their Bespoke Cocktails. Fantastic concoctions. Pick your alcohol & how you'd like it served (Shaken, Stirred, Refreshing, Aromatic, Savory, Sweet, Sour, Spiced, Light, or Alcohol Driven).

Ask the barman to make you a cocktail, dont go for regular drinks, they are mixer magicians. outdoor is reserved only for those who are dining which is a bit annoying when it's warm out
  • Joanne R.
Create your own cocktail by the ingredients listed on the wall. Waiters are super friendly, nice atmosphere but the place is packed quickly. One of the nicest speakeasy I've been to!

Amid all the bright lights and neon signs of the old school joints in Little Italy, you have to be looking pretty hard for the unmarked red door with a little red light that serves as the entrance. Read more

Discrete speakeasy. No signs, look for the red door down the steps. Tell the bartender what ingredients you like or give him an adjective and he'll whip up a cocktail surprise. Tourists not allowed.

great spot for an early drink, as it is a very small space and the later it gets the less space avalaible. One of the few great speakeasies in NYC with mind blowing food to match.

Look for the pink light and staircase downstairs to find this Speakeasy. Known for their make your own cocktails, aka bartenders choice, there's a dance crowd but also a nice backyard.

Don't order from the menu. Let the bartender make you a concoction based on your liquor preference, it's a delicious surprise with such fresh ingredients-- lots of fruits and herbs

Two words: Bespoke drinks. I asked for gin with a fruit & the waitress recommended blueberry & rosewater to go with it. Sooo good. There were still tables available around 11 pm.

Check out their speakeasy within a speakeasy. La Isla Escondida will only be open during the summer. If it's like their last popup 1919 it'll definitely be worth it.

Mango muddled bevvy was soo delicious. But be prepared to be ignored for about 20-30 minutes before anyone looks up to make you a drink!

Great outdoor space. Wish the drinks were a bit stronger, but they're super tasty (i.e. the Jenna Jameson with blackberries). Food is not top notch (i.e. the burger)

There is no formal cocktail list, but the bartender asks the type of spirit you like & if you like your drinks sweet, sour, etc. Then he creates a custom cocktail for you.

The bartenders were a little stuck up, but competent. The place is really tight, which is typical for the area, and the decor wasn't impressive. The cocktails were great though.

We're back for the opening of their patio + garden, 900 square-feet & 50 seats of outdoor casual. Dont to try something off their brand new menu of frozen cocktails.

Suggestions: jalapeño, ginger, tequila base, or a whiskey, egg white, apple base. These were a couple of the best drinks I've ever had. Food sucks though beware.

A nice outdoor space, but the cocktails are weak, which sucks when you're paying $12-15 bucks for them. I had two and felt nothing.

Try to order something from their menu that they still have is harder than saying which artworks in the courtyard is the worst.Plus : better have a waiter than a waitress

One of the most disappointing experiences in I've had. FOH is a complete disorganized, disaster & overshadowed decent drinks. Food was mediocre at best. I'm doubtful this place will be open in a year.

For a place that claims to do "bespoke" cocktails, they don't seem to know many. Had a waitress that didn't know a Greenpoint or a Oaxacan Old Fashioned. Disappointing.
