Always worth a quick hike for some misty views. Beware, lots of people and you’ll likely get wet standing near the base of the falls. But great photos and spending time outdoors makes it worthwhile!

The hype is real. This is only a 30-40min drive from Portland and so worth it. Go on the early side if you want to beat the crowds and don't forget to hike the trails behind the falls themselves.

Breathtaking. Photos just don't do it justice. Be prepared to battle the crowds though. If the lot right off I-84 is full, drive to next exit and take the scenic route back for additional parking.

Be Sure to visit during the week, very crowded on the weekend. There is a snack shop around the backside of the other snack vendors that serves great hot dogs, hard-to-find but is there.

Beautiful place. I was in awe all the time I was there; the pictures look amazing. They have a cute little museum and shop, you should check that out.

Totally worth the trip - the hike to the top of the falls is steep and lots of switchbacks. Harder than I thought it would be, but it's free (unless you get trapped buying something in the gift shop)

This waterfall is stunning! Another great spot to hike or jog (1 mile up the mountain to the top of the waterfall) in lieu of a gym workout. The sweat and the view is worth it...

Wear comfort clothes, hiking shoes, and of course bottle water. It takes 1 and 3/4 miles to reach the top of the falls. It is worth to see stunning view.

Really incredibly beautiful falls! The hike to the top is steep and a bit challenging but worth the view. Make sure to wear good shoes, very slippery in spots.

This kind of beauty is rarely so accessible, so expect crowds until you get well away from the base. The whole area is gorgeous though and basically Rivendell.

Avoid the crazy traffic on east 30 by parking at the lower lot at Wahkeena Falls. Hike the ,2 miles to see Wahkeena and then enjoy the easy .5 mile hike to Multnomah

If you happen to be there in the early afternoon, be sure and hit up the Brunch buffet at the Lodge. Awesome selection of breakfast/lunch/seafood, etc.!

One of Oregon's most famous waterfalls, I suggest combining this with a drive up the Old Cascade Hwy and a visit to the picturesque town of Hood River.

The view from the bridge is easy enough for most people to reach. The best view is from the top, but you need some stamina to get there (and back down).

At the top check out the larch mountain trail where you can find another smaller waterfall. If you get ballsy you can go to the base of it. Or so I've heard . . .

One of the highest waterfalls in the country (624 ft). It's spectacular, and well laid out for visitors. Just watch for the LEFT exit on the hwy. Read more

Great views, beautiful photos, and you don't need to hike for any of that. It gets even better if you do. Must see if you're in the area!

Gorgeous waterfall. Weekends will get really nutty and become a tourist trap. Highly recommend at least seeing it once in your life.

One of my favorite places in the world. The hike to the top, while difficult, is worth the effort. Sadly I only get to see it about twice a year. :-(

Take time on your walk, it's not a long hike. Also make sure to go in any season. It's beautiful no matter what time of the year.

Park at Kaweah Falls then walk the half mile trail to Multnomah. Easier to find parking, and a very short and very pretty trail.

Hike was worth it but thats just because the hike itself is pretty interesting. The view at the top is pretty crappy actually. Unfortunately you cannot see most of the falls from the top.

When leaving, don't just get back on the freeway. Head West on the old highway for more falls and some great pictures of the Vista House and surrounding hills.

Go park at the rest area off of I-84 and take the pedestrian underpass to get to the waterfall. An easier way to get back on the highway once you're done.
