Fantastic presentation of famous Monet paintings.
Easily one of the best museum in Paris. A hidden gem where you are inches away from the works of Picasso and Renoir.
Great museum, with a very good collection of paintings. What really bothered me though is that no employee seemed to speak English
Impressionists at their very best
Is very nice, a tiny museum. Now is under works so you can see the half of the museum, but still worth the visit. Buy the jumelée ticket + Musee d'Orsay, you will save 4€!
Monet's water lilies are incredible. Take a lot of time to sit there and contemplate.
Quiet and personal, perfect to observe the artwork.
My favorite one, it is under rated
Very nice museum worth visiting on a sunday morning and try to rent one of the audioguides it really helps
It's my favourite museum in Paris. Small, intimate, and you are surrounded by Monet's fabulous water lily murals. Downstairs is a great, small collection of other famous artists.
Don't sleep on this museum because it's not the Orsay or Louvre. Two huge rooms on the top floor devoted to mural-sized works by Monet of his water lilies. Very serene place to appreciate his work.
Just a fantastic exhibit.
Often left behind, it deserves a visit for the monet murals. Sit in front of it and forget about time
Monet's water lily
An often missed museum, but so worth it especially if you are a Monet fan. Great alternative for those not wanting to get lost in the Louvre.
Claude Monet's Water-Lilies
In my humble opinion this museum tops Musee d'Orsay.
Known for the Water Lillies but make sure you see the collection downstairs.
Nympheas are breathtaking. 2 rooms only for this magistral and peacefull work Dont forget for UE citizens under 26 museum is free, go straight at the entry no need to wait for ticket
Impressive museum. Small clean and great selection of work
I loved this museum! I went there with my 3 yrs old daughter. Claude Monet paintings are wonderful
This is a good one if u have a short attention span. Nymphéas is beautiful but everything else is lacking. If u r wanting a breadth of Impressionist art, skip this & head straight to D'Orsay.
Great curation of pieces by Renoir, Matisse, Monet, Picasso, and more! Smaller, less crowded, and easier to conquer than d'orsay. Get the audio guide!
Spend 30 minutes with one of Monet's greatest masterpieces.
Bring your student card & passport for free entrance!
Skip the line (twice) by buying a combi ticket for l'Orangerie & d'Orsay at the Fnac for just €16,-. l'Orangerie is a good addition to d'Orsay.
Small but beautiful.
How fitting to have Monet's Water Lillies collection here. Collection is equally impressive as other famous museums in Paris and manageable to view.
They have two rooms built specifically to display 360 panoramas of Monet's water lilies.
Brilliantly curated collection of some of the finest Impressionist works in one intimate space. Small enough you can take your time. Get the €16 combo ticket for the Orsay as well.
First full Bernard exhibit in paris! My new favorite!
Small. For a quick stop of Art.
If you like Monet, then don't miss this museum. A rather small scale but worth visiting
Home to Monet's Nympheas paintings. Absolutely worth visiting.
One of my favorite museums. Get your tickets in advance & you won't have to wait in a long line.
Even if Monet isn't your cup of tea, it worth the visit to see many beautiful impressionist paintings. Go early in the morning and buy tickets to here and the D'Orsay, saving a precious time on lines.
An intimate and beautiful museum that is small yet essential in Paris. Go on a day with bright sunlight because light plays a huge role for monet's pieces. If you go late, ticket prices may be cheaper
Nice museum, but except 8 Monet water lilly canvas I didn't find anything else breathtaking or exceptional.
Just come and let your worries slip away ❤️
Take your time with the pieces. Really amazing!
Definitely worth seeing. Sadly, no pictures allowed.
An amazing collection of art: Picasso, Cezanne, Rodin, Matisse, Degas. And two rooms with Monet's giant water lily canvasses. Pound for pound (frame for frame?), perhaps the best museum in the world.
An incredible space to discover not only Monet but also a great modern art collection. Don't miss it!
the best Renoir collection! an some early Degas pieces downstairs. of course we all come for the water lilies.
Awesome beutifull amazing ... everything you want BUT it closes at 6.00pm!! It's too early!! :(
#photograph of 4 faces from paintings in Musée de l'Orangerie
Very impressive to see Monet's nymphéas in their full length. Sit down and take your time looking at them. This museum is a highlight!
Compact collection, smaller crowd- my top museum in Paris for peaceful art appreciation. Most well known for Monet's waterlilies but make sure to allocate time to check out the rest as well!
