Plus grand musée de France, le Louvre est un ancien palais royal qui accueille aujourd'hui une riche collection d'art du monde entier.
Tooooo big, otherwise nice and €15 entry is not all that much
Don't waste to much of your time on paintings. Egyptian and Roman antiquities and Decorative arts are a must see!
The best museum in the world! Has so much history about the world! Many people from the all the planet! I like very much!
Go at night to avoid the crowds.
Get tickets online to avoid the long queues. Lots of great exhibitions so head on over earlier so you can cover experience more.
The best stolen items in the world
A must visit, if not twice?!
Spending entire days just browsing
The size and layout of this museum means you could spend days exploring it, but go with half a dozen 'goals' in mind to help focus your time
The Islamic section is new and very lovely. As usual the big format paintings like lady liberty, or the crowning of Napoleon- are impressive and lovely.
This is a obligated stop, this museum is huge, come here early cause there's a lot to see.
best sculptures salons ever
Great museum. I just loved it. Prepare to walk for 3,5 hours if you want to see most of the artworks. :-)
Night opening on Wednesday & Friday till' 21h45 🌙🏺👌
Amazing from the inside out, hands down one of my favorite museums, one of my favorite things to look at!
The most important museum of the world, offering a various collection of artworks from ancient Persia, Egypt and Greece to renaissance.
No words to explain this amazing place. You should have at least 6-7 hours to visit it!
You need 1 week to see all part of Louvre I guess, but you must see as possible, AMAZING
Pity how almost all descriptions are in French only :(
Soooo many tourists!!!
Please take a hole day to discover this amazing museum; you will be delighted if you are an art lover!
One day will never enough ;)
Great art work, you need at least a day to roam around there is so much to see
Lots of people. Buy tickets online and in advance to skip the long waiting lines
Louvre is the Louvre!
If you're facing the pyramid with the tuileries behind you, turn to the left and go through the little corridor. You can see some sculptures through the windows without paying to enter.
Extraordinary. Magic big place with many interesting things. You have to have time for visiting everything. Free entrance for EU till 26 years .
Best museum in Paris.
I am not a big fan of the pyramid but Louvre is definitely one of the best museums I've ever seen
Mona lisa ;)
So much incredible art and architecture. Could've easily spent a whole day here.
One of the most amazing museums in the world for its rich collections
It's awesome to be in the world's largest museum and looking at the original Monalisa painting
Best Museum I've visited. Get there early right at opening before busses arrive.
Art overload. There's a cafes inside to refuel and ATMs just in case you need cash.
The Mona Lisa is just a small piece in the whole museum. Take a day or two and check out other exhibits.
Abandoned notfunctional fontaines, red boxes with shop almost in the center. Looks awful in septembe. Inside its perfect.
If it is raining than leave your raincoat actually all of your coats home. Come only with umbrellas. Cloakroom accepts only umbrellas. And the only cloakroom that is operating is the Richelieu one.
Go early! And there's no rush!
Didn't like it although some french Arab helped us no good guide and the tickets I bought got canceled one I had reached to the louver I didn't see it
Nintendo 3ds tour guide. NEAT! It's a dozy of a place. Too bad the tickets are not good for a few days at a time like other museums. Check out napoleons room.
9 hours was not enough
Take a side entrance. We took the port des lions entrance. Waiting time -> 0 minutes
Biggest attraction is the Mona Lisa. All else is good too.
Oh, Nikè: how gorgeous you are!
Just impressive. The downside: people taking selfies everywhere!
take your time to see what you are came for
Need 1 week to see everything.
Even though you might have to wait for a while to get in, its worth the wait. European students: FREE!
