Plus grand musée de France, le Louvre est un ancien palais royal qui accueille aujourd'hui une riche collection d'art du monde entier.
Hope you won't die there: it's beautiful, but huuuuuge!
One day is not enough to visit
I love this place ....❤️❤️❤️❤️
Be sure to get a good night's rest to be prepared to walk/stand all day. Everything is beautiful, gaaahhhh.
First visit the paintings. These rooms are being closed early.
don't wait more because you will be disappointed
My fav museum !! So much to see!
Must go, and it is huge. If you are a slow traveler who wants to learn and explore every detail of this museum you will need at least two days.
Don't forget to visit Iran section 👌🏻
The best museum experience you can have.
Amazingly family friendly. Went with toddler and stroller, and had a great day.
I liked the Napoleon Quarter & Apollo Gallery.Naked Statues in Roman & Greek areas not appropriates for kids.
Nice paintings and exhibitions. Very instructive and interesting museum.
You need a lot of time to see all the museum! It's amazing and beautiful.
Bought the Nintendo DS audio tour and it was sooo totally worth it! Just be patient while you learn how to use it 😉
Very nice museum, but the Q is long! Must go there earlier~
One day isn't enough if you are true art lover. Great museum, no wonder why its considered as greatest museum of the world.
If you are lucky enough you will avoid standing in long queue by going through the metro and Carousel. Worth visiting
You need a whole day to explore the whole thing. I spent 5 hours here until my leg cramped so I stopped exploring. Museum was huge and beautiful.
It was so historical and crowded place. For entering this place we have waited for 1 hour.
World class exhibits, must see. Organisation typically French, i.e. confused and shambolic, so buy tickets in advance online. Signage also is not good, so plan in advance!
An overwhelmingly rich and diverse collection. Probably the largest museum in the world?
Egyptian department, what a great place!!!
Pre book your tickets. If worth the extra euros
The 'must visit' in Paris. Spend a day, go early, start with masterpieces by floor, buy ticket in advance, get the audio guide, get an exhibition map, don't miss the Café Mollien... explore and enjoy
The best museum I have been to so far. Out of all the paintings, the one I adored the most is called Le Pandemonium
La Liberté guidant le peuple by Eugène Delacroix behind Mona Lisa (Into red salon) 👌🏼
Crazy difficult to get around in.
One of the big classics, the collection is always a catch!
Easy to lost! Such a big museum so pick just few sections you want to visit.
Every first Sunday of the month entry is free! The audio tour is must take, make sure to visit the Mona Lisa and look for the upside down pyramid.
Be sure that it'll take longer than you think! It's huge and everything is precious. Buy an online ticket to avoid waiting in line.
No matter how much you love art. Your expectations are going to be highly disappointed by the queues of tourists and rudeness. Too bad for the Mona Lisa & Venus, but it just might not be worth it.
Too much to see! I wish the museum was more organized in giving a paper guide to its visitors...like a list of "must see masterpieces" like the Prado does.
A must visit. There is so much to see.
Definelty a mush for Paris
Tooooo big, otherwise nice and €15 entry is not all that much
Don't waste to much of your time on paintings. Egyptian and Roman antiquities and Decorative arts are a must see!
The best museum in the world! Has so much history about the world! Many people from the all the planet! I like very much!
Go at night to avoid the crowds.
Get tickets online to avoid the long queues. Lots of great exhibitions so head on over earlier so you can cover experience more.
The best stolen items in the world
A must visit, if not twice?!
Spending entire days just browsing
The size and layout of this museum means you could spend days exploring it, but go with half a dozen 'goals' in mind to help focus your time
The Islamic section is new and very lovely. As usual the big format paintings like lady liberty, or the crowning of Napoleon- are impressive and lovely.
This is a obligated stop, this museum is huge, come here early cause there's a lot to see.
best sculptures salons ever
Great museum. I just loved it. Prepare to walk for 3,5 hours if you want to see most of the artworks. :-)
