I've been there twice and I would still like to visit it once more. A place where you can find all different sorts of artistic creation in human history.

Amazing building with amazing art. Don't miss the Winged Victory and Napoleon's chambers (also stop into the Angelina next to Napoleons's chambers for the hot chocolate)!

Go to the 2nd entrance, so much quicker. Give yourself 8 hours to see almost everything. And wear good walking/standing shoes

On busy days, enter via the Porte des Lions. You'll have direct access to the main drag Halls of Spanish and Italian Painting.... this can be a good or a bad thing, if you are trying to avoid crowds.

Mona Lisa isn't the most attractive work. Turn around and look at this huge painting. This one is certainly the biggest I ever seen.

You need at least 2 full days to see everything here. Get the audio guide! Buy the tickets online and collect it at rue d pyramids tourism center to avoid the loooooong line. Magnificent place

Instead of taking a snapshot of a great work of art, put down your camera and look at the great works with your eyes instead of your camera screen.

Best day to go it's on Wednesday around 8:00 pm. It's very quite and you can see the most impotant things very quickly as it's not very crowded. If you have the museum pass, you don't queue.

If the throngs of people snapping photos of the Mona Lisa are too much for you, try the Middle Ages collection in Richelieu. Very Game of Thrones and no crowds.

Stand at one of the exits, strike up a conversation with someone leaving (be super nice) and you can usually score a free ticket - and therefore skip the queue.
