Huge and excellent. But to be honest, after an hour or two it gets kind of repetitive. Would do good to mix the paintings up with some sculptures.

One of the most stunning art museums in the world. It's a must see, a must visit.

There's so much to see and so much to read! The signs are very informative and they're ALL translated into (very good) English, which is amazing. Don't go during free hours (or get there VERY early).

Ok. Buy tickets online. Maybe even if you're already *in* line. Dwnld to your phone, sneak around to the back of the museum. The ticket says you need to print, but they will scan it. Boom, no wait 🐤

Definitely one of the most vast and eccentric art museums of the world. You will probably recognize some of the artworks from those art books you have been studying ;) amazing! The staff could be nicer

Great to see Velázquez, especially the meta-portrait Las Meninas, but it is the viscerality of Goya's 'Black paintings' that are a highlight. Especially Saturn.

Pre-book tickets online. Ticketing purchasing queues even in shoulder season can be epic. Opt for the restaurant over the cafe, it's not much pricier but the food is much better

This is an amazing art museum that definitely should be on every Madrid visitor's agenda. To either join a guided tour, or getting the headsets, are recommended to get the most out of the visit.

El Greco and Bosch (here called El Bosco) are the gems of the collection, but don't overlook Raphael, Goya, and Velazquez. Audio guide is definitely worth it. Gift shop is rather pricey.

This museum can take at least 4 hours to see. Come early to get a spot in line. There's free museum hours in the evening but the line to get in is much longer than the one in the morning.
