You won't find the most famous Picasso paintings here but the museum is very nice. It has paintings from all his years that help the guest follow the changes in his style and see his work as a whole.

Picasso, one of the greatest artists of all time, found great inspiration in the city of Barcelona, naturally it follows that some of his best works are displayed in the Picasso Museum in Barcelona.

Don't expect to come here and see Picasso's iconic work and style. A lot is focused on his very early works, and some late (before his death) pieces. I suggest coming early to avoid long entry line

If you're looking for the artwork that you know of as PICASSO, this isn't the museum for you. This has a large collection of his art before his fame and a handful from Blue Period. Good 2 hour visit.

Probably my favourite museum in Barna. Even though it offers free access on Sunday, it's worth to pay for your ticket and get a chance to see it when it's calm. It does get quite busy.

At least on the first Sunday of each month when entrance is free (!), prepare yourself for a long queue. It can take 40-90 minutes to get in, so manage your time. Workday is over @19:50. It's worthy!

Probably best to buy your tickets in advance to avoid the wait on line. Tickets are reserved for specific times. Don't be late!

It's well set out and there is a fair amount of his work. If you're after any of his more famous works, you won't them here. 1st Sunday of the month you get in free.

Free on the first Sunday of every month but there will be a huge line, so be there early. Little hard to navigate inside. If a couple, one audio guide is enough.

You can't take photos nor use your mobile phone. I felt there were large gaps missing from the timeline. Many interpretations of (parts of) Diego Velázquez' Las Meninas. I prefer Paris' Musée Picasso.

Amazing building which in itself is worth seeing. Great exhibit of his early work. Worth seeing!!! its related to the time which Picasso spent in Barcelona.

Fantastic collection of his early work. It's free entry on Sunday 3-7pm But long queues. We went at 5.30pm and queue shorter then.

Avoid the long queues by buying an Articket BCN pass from the Tourist Office in Plaça de Catalunya. You'll need to redeem the voucher they give you at a museum, the closest being CCCB.

Kind of a must-see when in Spain but I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much work from the 20s-40s, his surrealism glory days. Still lots of great early Picasso. Go early, it gets busy.
