    Great place. Their modern and contemporary collection isn’t that comprehensive, and some of the exhibitions aren’t exactly “fine art” at all.

    This is a huuge museum with a LOT of exhibits. Expect to spend a full day! My favorite is the exhibits on the ancient world.

    Pricey but it's worth an annual visit. There is a constant rotation of galleries & so forth which makes for a different experience every time. The lectures here are sometimes interesting. Decent food.

    They have a wide variety of artistic periods from around the world. The collections of American is some of the best in the country. The coat check can take some time especially in winter.

    If you like a little bit of culture this place is a must in Boston, it's big, you'll need at least 2 full days for a detailed view. Different tours begins each hour approx from visitors crewe center

    Better be prepared to spend the say and then you may have only seen a small part of the entire collection. Great great place.

    Outstanding art, food (near the info center,) It's good alone and in groups and try the art classes they are entertaining and interesting.

    I got free admission which was great. Also you do not want to miss Choi Jeong Hwa's installment- it's absolutely mesmerizing.

    If you visit Boston, it is a must-go place. Awesome and beautiful in every detail. You may take at least 3 hours there

    Go to the "new" American wing. It's beautiful, and has some interesting furniture displays, as well as several paintings by my favorite- Georgia O'Keefe

    One of the most comprehensive collections of art you will ever see. The building itself is breathtaking, and an art lovers and others alike can will happily get lost in it for hours on end! Fav museum

    Excellent collection of art from all eras from the ancient world to contemporary times. A highlight is the massive Americas wing exhibiting pre-Columbian era art.

    Don't miss the daily tours too. There are different tours focusing on different subjects ranging from collection highlights tour to European arts etc. Docents are excellent.

    Largest collection of Egyptian antiquities outside Cairo from authorized excavations in the 1900s. Impressive range of artworks from ancient to contemporary. Show Isabella Gardner tic and get $2 off.
