Incredible place to see live music. Go early to get in on happy hour. Odds are your favorite band LOVES playing here.
The revamp is now almost a carbon copy of the Bowery Ballroom, but with a better downstairs bar. Check it out.

Come to a wedding here.
Pretend you're VIP upstairs, stage left. Get drinks up there too to avoid the long lines downstairs.
Feel free to punch anyone in the face who is talking LOUDLY over your favorite song/band. I mean, why the hell did you come here if all you want to do is have a conversation about inane crap?
One of the best and friendliest music venues in NYC. They even have a live feed of the concert, so you won’t miss a beat when getting drinks for all your friends.

This is definitely my favorite venue in the entire city. It was actually constructed to replicate Bowery Ballroom and made everything slightly better than BB.
cell service + 3G sucks unless you lean against the pillar all the way up front and to the the right.
For all your music needs. A series of balconies at various levels around the stage offer a very good experience.
Don't accept drinks from Steve Ginsberg #roofies
Plush couches in upstairs lounge!
Readers' Poll winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best Live Music Venue!
Nicest and best sounding room to see music in Brooklyn, possibly all of NYC. Take a minute to at least just roam through the posh upstairs lounge / balcony.
If you're waiting for a show to start, sit downstairs at the bar and watch the stage from the monitors. There's also happy hours pre-show!
Get two Drinks during happy hour (at half price) and ask for a big cup to enjoy lotso booze and avoid binging.
Happy Hour til 8pm!
Hang in the downstairs bar if you need a break from the show.
Lean against the railing on one of the raised areas on the right side and look ultra moody. Bonus: the spot has the best cell reception in the joint, so you can instagram to your heart's content.
The sides are where it's at!!! #occupystageright
Check out the Shepard Fairey murals on the wall upstairs.,

People should post undr the tips who's playing
if the show is sold out, no worries: just talk to the dubious fellows working the door and they'll let you right in for face value.
Bands play here if you like music.
Try watching the show from upstairs. I prefer the sound and views up there.
Check out the lounges both upstairs and downstairs. Comfy couches, attentive bartenders.
Use the front staircase and you'll enter the main room right by the stage. Perfect for those late entrances on crowded nights.
