The Mustangs of Las Colinas is one of the largest equestrian sculptures in the world. Williams Square, a stark, pink-granite plaza in the Las Colinas Urban Center, is home to this breathtakingly realistic bronze sculpture of nine wild mustangs crossing a stream.
Great to photograph, very cliche, but regardless the sculptures are quite magnificent. Don't come on a weekend...horrible parking and crowded with tourists.
If you park at one of the two garages, you can visit the museum and they'll stamp your ticket for 1 hour free parking.
Marvel at the bronze horse sculptures, then watch a short movie about mustangs themselves, plus learn how the sculptures were made. #seemoresights
Come check out the Mustangs....
Lovely work! I'm old enough to remember grasslands! Texan ideals were burned into our brains as kids; now I'm glad! I live elsewhere today, but as an Art Educator, I'll show these to my students!
Don't try to swim in the water out ride the horses.... If you do, be quick about it....
Don't get on the horses...security hates it!...if you do be fast...lol
Beautiful sculptures! Lovely place to take pictures at for a special occassion, engagement, senior, anniversary, prom pictures, etc.
Check out the museum. It's great! Mary does an awesome job as curator:-)
Park in the bottom floor and walk in
You can park in the parking garages adjacent to the buildings surrounding the sculptures for a nominal fee.
Didn't get a chance to go inside but the sculptures in the front are beautiful.
