The Village Museum (Muzeul Satului in Romanian) is an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herăstrău Park (Bucharest, Romania), showcasing traditional Romanian village life.
The Village Museum was established in 1936 and it contains over 300 wooden houses, windmills, churches etc. from all over the country.
One of the best museums that i've seen in Bucharest. It's an outdoor museum... So is like walking in a magical park full with beautyful country houses from all over Romania.
Dont forget to jump the 'parleaz'.
One of the great European outdoor museums!
Lovely place and it costs close to nothing to enter... really a place not to miss in Bucharest! Strongly recommended!
Foarte frumos muzeul. A evoluat fata de anii '90, orice copil trebuie sa-l viziteze.
