People tend to check in during these times:
The complex of camps, which became a symbol of genocide, terror and the Holocaust, was established in 1940. During World War II the Nazis murdered hundreds of thousands of Jews, Poles, Gypsies.
Wherever you live, dedicate your time to visit this place.
History. Learn and do not repeat same mistakes...
It should be an obligation for everyone to see it at least once in life..
Never forget, never again!
Simply breath taking movies and videos do no justice to this horrible part of history.
"The one who does not remember history is bound to live through it again..." it is the most dramatic place where i had been, everyone should visit here to face up to a part of real history.
Everyone should visit this place once in their life. You have learned about it, seen it in movies,... but that's nothing compared to the real thing. And of course, take a guide...
Big. Must see, to understand the movies and the history.
When you enter between 10h00 and 15h00, you're obliged to join a group. You can come after 15h, start with Birkenau or join the group and wander off by yourself.
Just thinking about here makes my hair stand on end
part of history
Free entrance stickers on the bus stop sign. Take an orange one for English. Saves you lot of money.
So impressed, lots of information, it needs to spend a full day, the bad thing is it closes at 4pm.
An awful part of history but a must see! Lots of tours run from Kraków, we used Escape 2 Poland, around £20 per person with hotel pick up included.
Memory of people who died here shall never be forgotten. Visiting this place gives a new perspective in life.
Not only the Jewish people had to suffer, The Romani people also....
Definitely worth a visit. Something which you read in the history books is brought to life by the vivid descriptions of the tour guide
The scary faces on the wall ... True scary ... Shock me..
Very impressive. But did we learn from it???
A visit to Auschwitz/Birkenau is something that you must do before you die, it is truly moving. It is only an hour from Kraków by car, and should be a top priority to visit.
Nazi kampına hoşgeldiniz !
Take your time for this, and don't forget to wander around and also walk to the far end. Very impressive.
עם ישראל חי
İnsanlığın bittiği yer.
You must see this part of history no matter who you are. It is a compelling and sad experience
70 years NEVER FORGET
It's hard not to feel anything here, even though you're called emotionally crippled.
It needs more sign from the train station to the camp, there's no sign.
Too much impressions
A "must see" if you are visiting krakow and the south of poland!
40 PLN for the guided tour which lasts around 3 hours. Well worth it.
Herkesin Gormesi gereken en onemli yerlerden biri ozellikle Hitlerin Insanligi yok ettgi Firinlari gezerken tuylerim diken diken oldu anlatamam o duyguyu size yasamaniz lazim Insanlik İçin..!!
Потрясающее все, но очень, очень страшно. Такое не должно повториться.
Один раз в день, в 12:00, проводится ознакомительная экскурсия на русском языке по территории КонцЛагеря Auschwitz I.
Bir zamanlar insanligin bittigi yer.mutlaka gorulmeli
Um soco no estômago!
