An American Tradition Since 1916.
Lines are long, but it gives you enough time to look at the menu and decide. Obviously you'll need to try the Nathan's hot dog if you haven't. Their cheese burgers and fries aren't bad either.
The main nathan's -the one in coney island- has slight bigger and much better franks than same brand shops around nyc.
No trip to Coney Island is complete without a trip to Nathan's. Love grabbing a hotdog with peppers and onions.
Landmark, delicious NY hot dogs. Sauerkraut and mustard. Nothing else needed.
trashy but nice :)
Super bad and slow service!
Frog Legs ;)
Stick to the classics
Service is super slow and the hot dogs taste like any old hot dog but history right?
Lobster soup in winter, hot dog plain in summer or any time
Hot dogs are damn near 5 dollars now lmao
the "clams" are delicious (but don't be fooled- they're just little fried strips)
Be aware: the large beers are super large (64 oz).
Expensive but high in quality
Just for the hot dog
I can only eat two. I'll never be Joey Chestnut.
Best place for a hot dog!
Gotta get a dawg at least one time.
Oysters and seafood were surprisingly fresh, delicious, and affordable!
Frog legs. Just do it.
Classic spot. A must do in Coney Island: enjoy a timeless hotdog from Nathan's
Typical tourist trap with long, but managable, lines. The beef franks will leave you wanting more so be sure to pile up.
It was a good...a really good hot dog. Now the fries were not good. I do consider myself a French-fry sommelier and I with confidence can say, sub par. The service was good and very polite.
Skip the chili dog and stay with the original dog. It's best the classic way
Hot dogs from the original are a must. I ordered a lobster roll (so cheap at 6.99) and it was tasty but the portion of lobster was pretty small. Guess you get what you pay for!
Classic American hot dogs and fries. Come every year for the 4th of July Hot Dog Eating contest!
Can't go wrong with a hot dog and fries from here. Head to the beach after, but wait 30 minutes before going in the water!
The hot dogs weren't anything special for the hype
Great food but the service is slow and the lines are always long.
Best hot dogs in town and around the world! If you want to see a historical site and have a brooklyn original meal you need to stop here.
Chili dogs and beer, duh!
Hot dogs were good. Loved the orangeade
Hotdogs, juicy and all beef
A great place to basecamp during the Mermaid Parade. Delicious food. Very large draft beers (reasonably priced too). Has a large seating area outside.
Grade A corndogs. Only better one I have had in NYC is Papaya Dog.
The standard for a hot dog. I personally enjoy the cheese dog, but I can't blame you if go the chili cheese dog route.
The Mecca of hot dogs. A must do when visiting Coney Island.
Obviously get a hot dog!
Good for the bathroom!
A New York landmark but not the best hotdogs in New York go to crif dogs for that.
crispy corn dog on a stick
the lines are crazy long on hot days. I found the corn dog to be WAY too greasy last time. the Nathan's corn dogs at other locations are not that way.
It's the original. Puts the Nathan's hot dogs they sell in the store to shame...
You cant go wrong at Nathan's. Best corndog on the planet. It's been around for almost a century for good reason. Everything is delicious.
The hot dogs, shrimps, frog legs, fries...
A tasty, but a bit overpriced dog. You've got to try it at least once for the experience but you're basically getting what you'd get in the grocery store.
Don't hold back. Get one of everything.
The food is pretty average but you're probably going more for the name than the taste
