    I saw a lot of swastikas 😕. Museum entry is free, but all the exhibitions cost money. It's a popular museum - lots of people - perhaps too many.

    The first gift shop that I liked in my life. Don't forget to check out the aircraft carrier exhibit. It's something you normally don't find out.

    I really like this museum, but is in desperate need of some new last generation aircraft displays... some of the current/future cockpits are from the 90’. Put some Boeing 787 displays!!

    Tip: You're really hungry, but McD inside of the building looks packed with tourists? No worries, just get outside and find their food truck (right from main entrance).The only catch is 3-items menu.

    Not accessible for the visually impaired. Everyone offered a Braille book but that does nothing. They need to get audio Tours that are accessible. The ones they do have are difficult/disappointing.

    Amazing! Definitely make a plan to visit the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in addition to the museum, well worth it and you could easily spend a full day at each.

    Full scale Predator drone, the Wright Flyer, and the Apollo 11 lander. Don't forget: less than 70 years separates the Wright Flyer from Apollo 11!

    A must see when in Washington. The exhibits include the Apollo 11 capsule and the Spirit of St Louis. Parking nearby is a real problem, so use a cab or public transport.

    This is one of the more updated museums in the Smithsonian complex, though it is still a bit outdated. We all enjoyed the exhibits and had plenty to do there.

    The number of historical aircraft and rockets is mind-boggling. So many informative interactive displays although some were under repair. Very crowded though. You really need a full day.

    If you're able to visit the Museum next to the airport, don't forget to go! It's bigger than the one in DC downtown, there are more historical planes, Concorde, Discovery, Enola Gay, Blackbird, wow!

    You should definitely take a ride in the flight simulators. Very realistic! Not good if you get dizzy easily. You are doing barrel rolls and trying to shoot down enemy planes.

    The simulators might have been fun but after paying and waiting in line for over an hour they said I'd have to pay double to fly my own. Their sign says $8 but it DOESN'T say they'll pair u up.
