Nothing better than hanging out here on a nice summer Friday night and listening to jazz with a pitcher of sangria. Arrive early and bring a blanket to get a good spot, it fills up fast

Come in the winter for ice-skating, and in summer to cool off by the fountain. The cafe here is pretty good too.

If computer system down to search specific works, staff will look up specific artists for you if pressed for time. Hit the impressionists first to avoid the crowds. No crowds at Renaissance works.

Jazz in the Garden is one of the now not so secret treasures of DC summertime. Be sure and get there early, secure a spot and saddle up to the sangria stand.

Take a break from touring & sit on the smooth granite chairs near the Constitution Ave & 7th entrance. They're the only sculptures you can touch. Live music here @ 5pm every Friday during the summer.

Some excellent pieces are here, although the approach feels a bit scattered. There's no clear curatorial viewpoint or narrative structure. On a beautiful day, the fountain makes up for it.
