    Nothing better than hanging out here on a nice summer Friday night and listening to jazz with a pitcher of sangria. Arrive early and bring a blanket to get a good spot, it fills up fast

    Come in the winter for ice-skating, and in summer to cool off by the fountain. The cafe here is pretty good too.

    If computer system down to search specific works, staff will look up specific artists for you if pressed for time. Hit the impressionists first to avoid the crowds. No crowds at Renaissance works.

    Take a break from touring & sit on the smooth granite chairs near the Constitution Ave & 7th entrance. They're the only sculptures you can touch. Live music here @ 5pm every Friday during the summer.

    Some excellent pieces are here, although the approach feels a bit scattered. There's no clear curatorial viewpoint or narrative structure. On a beautiful day, the fountain makes up for it.

    The Sculpture Garden in D.C. holds several major works from the National Gallery of Art that you can walk through and observe. They have jazz Friday night in the summer, and ice skating in the winter.

    Great place for ice skating Nov-March - tho lines can get long on wkend afternoons, the wait is worth it for a 2-hr skate, and they do rent ice skates and lockers for your shoes. Read more

    Friday nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day the garden hosts free jazz concerts starting at 5pm. If you can get there a little early, try for a spot on the fountain and dangle your feet. Read more

    Коллекция дурацких скульптур, которым видимо не нашлось места в залах музея. Рядом приличный пруд с фонтанами и очаровательный парк. Но со скульптурами надо что-что решать :-)
