Great Connecticut style lobster roll (hot butter,no mayo) w/ large chunks of succulent lobster meat.Priced at $29,it's well worth the penny for the quality and portion.Clam chowder is Italian style.

This tiny oyster bar in Boston’s North End draws crazy lines for its hot, buttered rolls served on brioche buns. You may need to start off with a fork before you can bite into these giant creations. Read more

Definitely worth the wait! The only place with HOT lobster rolls, which are WAY better than regular cold lobster rolls.. If you Love lobster then you MUST try one of these! Expensive but worth it!

Oysters are very fresh, must order! Clam chowder made to order but not the traditional thick broth, I prefer legal seafood clam chowder better. Lobster roll is very chunky, lots of lobster.

Check in before 7 p.m. at the latest and get on the list. While it can take an hour or more to get a table, they'll call you when your table is ready so you can explore North End while you wait.

Great wine list and draft beers, and one of the rare places to get a warm buttered lobster roll in Boston. And of course, the oyster choices are fantastic. Just be prepared for a very long wait!

Best hot buttered lobster roll. Ipswich fried clams are also ace. Expect an hour wait if you don't get there before 11:20am. They take your phone number and call you so grab a drink around the corner.

Everything is delicious, especially the Johnnycake. Also finish the meal with the light Hamachi Ceviche. Perfect place for a date. Make sure to show up at least 2 hours early to get on the wait list.

The real New England lobster roll is served cold. If you like warm lobster with butter - get a lobster and enjoy it with butter (with your hands, bib and all)

Everything I've had here is the best version of that thing I've ever had. Great oysters, lobster roll, clam chowder. All very, very good. But expect to wait a while to get seated, it's a small place.

Best seafood in the US. Go on a weekday around 3-4PM to get seated without waiting. Get the scallops, the buttermilk johnnycake, and, of course, the lobster roll (I like it cold with mayo). Amazing.

The North End is generally known for Italian, which makes it all the more impressive that a seafood restaurant has made its name as one of the neighborhood's best places to eat. [Eater 38 Member]

The most overrated place ever, 2 hrs waiting list, bad service, good oyster bar but that's it. The clam chowder couldn't be worst because is impossible, the best of the lobster roll are the fries.

I can't tell you its worth the wait - its the Balthazar of Boston - but the oysters are amazing, the hot mussels a must and the staff have it down to an art. Put your name down, take a walk & enjoy

A tiny spot with long lines. If you snag a seat, start with some oysters (shucked in full view at the front of the restaurant) before moving onto clam chowder and an inimitable lobster roll.

Ok! Best lobster roll! This place is very small. Avg wait according to waitress is between 1-3 hrs on non holiday weekends. Get there early to put your name down. They will call when table is ready.

Very small restaurant with very friendly staff. hot lobster roll is a must, though I would suggest to get it without the roll as the roll is too buttery for my liking. Best to come with small group.

Not even a contest. Best lobster roll on planet earth. Come here to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, fresh and diverse oyster selection, but of course the LOBSTER ROLL! Butter style is my preference.

If you sit at the bar, just be forewarned that female server with the curly hair and glasses is a Grade A C U Next Tuesday. She threw our napkins and silverware after serving our food 10 mins before.

Be prepared to wait for a frighteningly long time, but when you finally do sit down, it'll be worth it for the hamachi ceviche, hot lobster roll, and fried Ipswich clams you order and devour.

Monk fish was the surprise winner along with the PEI mussels. Oysters, little necks and cherry stones were perfect to start. Warm lobster salad was just ok. Scallops were fantastic.

Three hours for a table? Who eats dinner at 10pm? Place was packed. Reservations would render the restaurant the same in income yet provide a more stable and reliable dining experience.

My favorite oyster, aside from the oft-one-dimensional salty Massachusetts breeds, is the perennially-on-menu Vancouver Kusshi oysters, low salt and tasting strongly of cucumber.

Hot lobster roll is obvi a must. I suggest going splitsies with the mussels so you can dip the fries in that scrumptious sauce!

The Vitello Tonnato is casually known as 'Most Decadent Sandwich': thinly sliced veal & clumps of raw tuna with cucumber and a light spicy mustard. Pricey, but delicious. Eat!

Order the P.E.I. mussels to start. The key is to get a bite of the sausage with a bite of mussel. Plus the broth is decadently delicious.

This tiny Boston oyster bar is making some big waves. Neptune Oyster's raw bar and dining room seats only 44 patrons, so landing a table in this small venue will take some effort.

Great clam chowder, but don't call this "chowda." This is refined, elegant and light. Fried clams are perfect. Raw oysters are super fresh and flavorful. Try a variety.

Warm Lobster salad is really good, generous serving. Chowder is different than the traditional chowder, more soupy than creamy but full of flavours. I liked it.

You have to try the hot lobster roll. It's a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. Also, this place does not take reservations, so plan to arrive early.
