The Aquarium is a leader in ocean exploration and conservation and a premier visitor attraction in Boston welcoming over 1.3 million visitors yearly.
Crowded on the weekend but has an amazing multi leveled aquarium with a badass sea turtle
Very diverse array of wildlife. The harbour seals at the observation tank near the entrance are cool.
The central Giant Ocean Tank holds 200,000 gallons of water and dozens of marine animals. By far the venue's most astonishing exhibit.
Love the sea horses from Australia.
Wide variety of fascinating animals.
Check out the penguin exhibit, large fish tank and the sting ray petting tank.
Myrtle the turtle. 'Nough said.
Sit and watch the penguins for a while. They are adorable and lively.
The animals seem happy. NEAQ seems to care a lot about conservation which is great; I LOVED the sting ray touch-tank.
Great animals, helpful guides
Shark, eels, penguins and sea lions!
Great penguin exhibit
Got to see Myrtle the turtle!!
I enjoyed to touch the carps
Incredible place, not too costly
The penguins are great-but the rest is underwhelming considering the price
The penguins are the best part! And Myrtle.
Nice aquarium, but I found it small for the high price of general admission.
very family friendly, many types of fishes and my favorite were the fur seal. always playful
It is all about the Penguins here.
The Penguins make great wedding guests
Huge aquarium!!! Loads of animals :D
Beautifully cared for with a nice selection of fish. Organization is a little confusing, but oh well. The massive central reef tank is very impressive. Go to a seal training session!
Great place for the family. Fantastic exhibits and shows. You can easily spend most of the the day there in awe at all the sea life on show.
Overrated. Who the hell this place is rated #1 as attraction in Boston greatest area 😐😐😐
Cool exhibits, but I wish they updated this place 100%... unlike the Museum of Science, nothing here changes, so there's really no reason to keep returning. And they keep jacking up the price!!
A must see attraction in Boston. Tons of fish in the multilevel center tank!
Shark and Ray tank! Knowledgeable and friendly staff and volunteers. IMAX.
Very expensive, quite small for the price but had a really big tank in the middle. There is also two tanks where you are allowed to touch stingrays, sharks, starfish and crabs.
Amazing fun for kids and adults.
Came to Boston for business, so it is nice that I got free time for the weekends :) this is fun & good aquarium~ the shark touch tank is always fun, 90 years old turtle, n must see the seals♡
No more nurse sharks :(
It was my fiancee's first visit, he loved the shark and Ray touch tank and the giant ocean tank, we had a magical time
It's wonderful place to spend the day with your family. Great to watch penguins. So funny.
I like the aquarium, but it is a small one. Consider buying the city pass
Nice to see the Penguins and the giant turtles but this place is too small to deal with the massive Saturday crowds
Very nice place!
Sharks aren't always in the big tank but if you're patient a turtle will swim by :)
Love seeing all the jelly fish and the touch tanks are fun. The sea lion shows are always cute!
A great place to spend a few hours for all ages!
If you're short on time, start at the top of the ocean tank and work your way down.
The sea Ray exhibit closes 15 before the rest of the aquarium.
Didn't expect to see penguins in Boston. And loved the seal show.
Turn off your camera flash for better photos through the tanks people
