    truly a gem hiding in plain sight within the vastness of this crowded city. well-maintained, frequently upgraded, with plenty of acres for strolling, breathing, observing, listening to the elements.

    Bring walking shoes and plan a day around this "forest in the hood". Lots of areas to explore. Lookout for chipmunks, grass snakes, w/ an occasional cyote that has been spotted before! Do the tram!
